Connecting Calgarians to Healthy and Mindful Living

After many years of dreaming and planning, I started Connection Point in the spring of 2017.

I opened the business in order to share the diverse skillset that I have acquired over my many years in practice and education. I have found that practice and study seem to go hand in hand and I am always excited for new opportunities to learn and grow.

Mindfulness is an emerging area of interest not only in the public eye, but also in the scientific realm. My journey into practice and research has helped me understand the unique benefits of mindfulness. As my practice continues to evolve, so will my ability to facilitate this process for others. Taking a mindful approach to life in general allows you to make room for more peace, acceptance, and harmony. I offer one-on-one guided meditation sessions as well as group based sessions and educational workshops on the science of mindfulness.

Creative wellness is another area of my life that I have blended with professional practice. I welcome people from all walks of life to: Use colours and shapes to create meaningful art. Read poetry, scriptures, and other words to find meaning. Listen to music, find rhythm, and make sounds. Guide body movements in order to feel the benefits of stretching and keep the body limber.

My studies in Clinical Social Work have been the driving force behind my ability to offer counselling services. At it's core, my practice framework is person centred, strengths based, and mindfully informed. Persons interested in counselling or family consultation sessions are welcome to get in contact with me through my website. Initial sessions are billed on a sliding scale and an intake /assessment will be conducted in order to determine your counselling needs.
