Consort is a village in eastern Alberta, Canada. It is located at the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 41, approximately 250km southeast of Edmonton, 252km northeast of Calgary, and 283km west of Saskatoon. The Saskatchewan border is approximately 60km to the east. Consort and Alberta Beach hold the distinction of being the only two urban municipalities (cities, towns, villages, and summer villages) in Alberta that do not include its municipal status in its official legal name. Its official name is simply Consort instead of Village of Consort like the convention used by other urban municipalities.
