Best bodyshop that I can recommend in Calgary. The main thing for me and my wife was the honesty of there team. My last service at the dealership, I was told I needed to replace my brakes and it wasn't good if I drove with them. Due to Calgary's economy I have been out of a job for about a year now and money is very tight. I decided to wait and not listen to there recommendation. I felt they weren't that bad and I could get a bit more use out of them. A few months down the road and I needed to get some mechanical maintenance done on my vehicle (ie. oil change, transmission fluid change, and possibly replace my brakes). I heard about Contemporary Coachworks before and I decided to book my car in with them after hearing they do mechanical work. There labor rate was also cheaper than the dealer at $100.00 an hour

They called me back and notified that my brakes were worn and could use some maintenance. They didn't try and sell me on anything! They were honest and said I could get another 5k before I should replace. These are people you can trust! I will be back to replace my brakes. I also found out that they use all original parts. I will NEVER return to the dealership again. I cant imagine how many parts on my previous vehicle were changed without being needed. Every time I went to the dealer I left paying more money than expected.

This place I would recommend to my friends and family. Got in a fender bender with my new Lexus NX. I was devastated cause I just bought the car brand new and only had 1000km put on it. Lexus of Calgary recommended me Contemporary Coachworks (Lexus repair certified) and I couldn't be happier with the service. Super friendly staff. Always kept me informed with the status of my car. Looks brand new like there was no accident in the first place. If you need your car fixed without the worries of having to send it back because it wasn't fixed properly then this is the place you need to take your car. I came in early to pick up my car and noticed they did a complete quality control check on my car and there manager checked over all my damages before returning back to me. Thanks again Contemporary Coachworks! I'm eternally grateful for the outstanding service.

They are incredible to work with. Randy (manager) was so kind and helpful when I brought my car in to get a bumper repair. He was quick to get us in and out and incredibly informative. When my car was finished we expected to have to go get it detailed, but they had already cleaned it so well! Love them this is our second time here and they have exceeded our expectations each time.

Great customer service! We got estimates from several shops and were happy to choose Contemporary Coachworks. We were "kept in the loop" through the whole process. The price was more than fair and the quality of workmanship was exceptional. PLUS - we had a quick turn around!! We highly recommend this shop.

We had our Golf R rear ended a couple months ago. We had brought our previous vehicle to do repairs, and were pleased with their work so we decided to take the Golf in as well. Getting an estimate & booking an appointment was easy - they got us in the next week. We were told drop off would be on Wednesday and that the vehicle would be done and ready to be picked up on Friday (Good Friday). On the day before the appointment, we received a call telling us that they have to reschedule our appointment to the following week. Since we had already booked the rental vehicle and arranged our week according to the repair, we really didn’t appreciate being told (not asked) to reschedule the appointment for the following week. We told the receptionist that moving the appointment wasn’t going to work for us, but she continued to tell us that there was nothing she could do. After going back and forth quite a bit, she finally agreed to allow us to keep our original appointment. Since the vehicle was meant to be done on Good Friday, which is a statutory holiday, we inquired as to whether they will be open or not, since we were planning on leaving the city and returning on Friday. The receptionist told us that they would be open. We later called the same day, inquiring about Good Friday hours and were given the same response.

On the following day, Thursday, we received a call from the receptionist saying that the vehicle was done and ready to be picked p. She told us that they would be closed on Friday and that we would have to pick-up the vehicle that day, Thursday. This completely ruined our plans but thankfully our insurance was understanding and allowed us to keep the rental and pick up the vehicle on Monday. What bothered us was their lack of transparency in regards to the appointment and pick-up time. I personally work in the auto industry, and would never reschedule my clients a week later without first asking them if it is okay and I would never tell my customers that their vehicle would be done on a specific day, allow them to make their plans based on this, only to tell them that the vehicle is done early and they have to pick it up that specific day as we are closed the day they were originally scheduled to pick it up. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate that the vehicle was done early, but it didn’t feel as though customer satisfaction was first on this businesses priorities considering how the entire situation was handled.

Today (Monday), I picked-up the vehicle and the repair looks great! The car had even been cleaned and was left in the display over the weekend. This was unexpected but it really went a long way. We really appreciated them going the extra mile and cleaning the vehicle. The only problem we noticed was the reflector on the rear bumper was still pushed in after we picked it up. We I took the vehicle back to Contemporary Coach Works right away and they quickly got 3 guys working on it and finished up within 20 minutes. That was fantastic service!

Overall, we would rate our experience with Contemporary Coach Works 4 stars. We would definitely recommend them for getting repairs done on your vehicle. They stand by their work and the quality is always incredible. This is why we chose to go with Contemporary Coach Works versus the companies that our insurance company suggested. They do really great work and we cannot recommend them enough from this standpoint. The only recommendation we have is to work on the customer service aspect of the business. Who you have working the front counter does a lot for your business; and ensuring that your customers are kept informed and not misinformed throughout the entire process is pretty crucial. We only ever had issues with one receptionist, who tried to schedule us in for the following week and told us we have to pick-up the vehicle on Thursday versus Friday. The other receptionist was great and very helpful.

To conclude, thank you to the staff who worked on our beloved Golf R, and we will most certainly be back!

These guys are great and took care of everything I needed, the only problem I had was the amount of time it took for them to repair my car seemed a very lot longer than it really should have taken

Had my vehicle repaired following a minor accident. Great environment and friendly staff. Took care of the billing and working with insurance. Shop seems professional and organized. The only issue I had was that the door seal didn't quite align after repair. The shop did offer to take the car back but only in a few days to remediate. I ended up fixing this myself. Will go back again.

Amazing customer service! They MacGyvered a quick fix on my car on the spot without an appointment so I could get back to Vancouver. Greatly appreciated.
