Copperstone is a small engineering firm focused on overcoming monitoring and reclamation challenges in the oil sands and mining industry with it's amphibious rover, the AR2.

Copperstone Technologies is a design and product development engineering firm in Alberta that started in 2014. We provide core expertise in electrical /mechanical design and advanced robotic systems. Our remote sensing technologies have provided low-cost measurements for tracking, structural-health monitoring and fault detection for fleet management. The AR2 robotic system is being used to aid the oil sands industry in geotechnical surveys of previously inaccessible locations, and we have tested aerial systems to detect pipeline leaks.
