The goal of our Dayhome is to offer care for kiddos who can't be home with their parents, give the littles friends to play, learn and interact with.

Hello all!
I am Lyn Hewitt and am the woman behind Cottonwood Cuties Dayhome! We are located in the family oriented Cottonwood community in Coaldale, Alberta.
Who am I? I am a wife to Steven and a mother to three beautiful blondies - Paislea (5), Madden (3) and itty bitty Penny (2). Growing up I couldn't wait to be a mom, as a preteen I babysat for family, college years I was a part time live in nanny for two little boys, worked in daycare, as well as acquired my 1st year ECE. Years later I went on to graduate with my Criminal Justice diploma, worked a job in the security field and then 6 years ago, finally settled in to my career with the Federal Government as a Correctional Officer at Edmonton Institution. Slowly I have been working towards my degree in Criminal Justice (I mean sloooowly) and have been home raising my kiddos whilst jumping between working in Edmonton and being home.
My passion has always been working with children and in this stage of life, a day home is just what my family and I need. I want to be there for moms who work but desperately want a stable, fun, and loving home for their babies. I know how it feels to work and leave part of your heart behind, toughest. thing. ever. Cottonwood Cuties wants to be that stable home for your little one where they can learn, laugh, play, and be loved.
