Cowsmopolitan Country

Cowsmopolitan Country located just outside Didsbury, Alberta, evolved in 1971 out of a need for a source in Western Canada for 4-H and livestock grooming and show supplies. Don & Carol Wright & family, showed their herd of purebred Holsteins under the Wrightside prefix travelling the show circuit across Western Canada as well as to the Royal Winter Fair and Madison World Dairy Expo. Lexi, Ella & Casey all participated in the 4-H program, while Don, Carol & Lexi were all 4-H leaders over the years. Carol was one of the founding members of the Western Canadian Classic Junior Dairy show in Western Canada. We continue to support 4-H and youth initiatives and are proud to offer the Wright Family 4-H Scholarship in Alberta in Don's memory. Cowsmopolitan Dairy Magazine, was created by the Wright family in 2004 to provide a connection within the Dairy Industry across Canada and around the world. The magazine was sold in 2018 and continues to be published with Cowsmopolitan Inc. Carol continues to showcase livestock show supplies for most livestock breeds along with Dryshod Waterproof Footwear and some Muck Boots. Cowsmopolitan also provides ribbons & awards for livestock shows along with promotional items.
