Thanks to all our guests over the last 3 years... we will miss you. Mike and Barb have sadly decided to not return to manage the campground in 2018. 💔

What a great spot to go camping if you really want to get away from home. And also get spot to go out in the boat fishing and what not. Lots of great people. Can't wait to be back there September long weekend.

User

We've been going to this campsite for 5 years in a row. Fishing for walleye and pike is amazing. The beach is great for little kids and very safe. Very clean and well maintained. The staff is polite and the service is excellent.

User

This little gem of a campground is amazing, the staff were all friendly and helpful and the marina is well kept up. We've stayed here many times over the past few years.

User

The whole campground is clean, the staff were great. The price is fair for camping.

User

Staff is great!! Wonderful marina!! The campsites are clean and well maintained!

In regards to the review about the dogs. If you hadn't used such choice words it might have been a very educational report on said dogs. Unfortunately the campground has had some difficult times with the aforementioned dogs. I love dogs myself any breed or mutt! And I totally agree it is in how they were raised. The campground has put in specific rules to help but a lot of people do not follow the rules so harsher rules had to be put in. If people followed the rules to begin with, they wouldn't have to put on these other rules.

Great place to go. And not too far to drive from Calgary.

User

our favorite place to be - - biggest problem is we won't get back in there now that school is out - - people book a site on Monday and take and leave their unit there for the week just to have a spot for the weekend!! Can't even get in there during the week because it's full of empty units !! Other than that - when we can get in there - its a fabulous place.

User

This may long weekend is the first time we camped there . We really enjoyed the spot , the beach . Only thing love to see would be full service hookups. Loved the view we had . Great place will go back again .

User

Had a great experience! Everyone was very nice, the only thing we didn't like was having to pitch our tent on the gravel in the trailer area. We had plenty of grass around but were told no tents on it. Gravel doesn't make a very comfortable bed.

User

Great site and peaceful

User

Awesome place! Sites are always tidy when I get there and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Very family friendly place with lots of little ones present. No late/loud parties at night, which is more than fine by me! I've been coming for a couple years now and will continue to do so. Read a shitty review about their dog policy, (ridiculous and overkill if you ask me!) so this should be reviewed before you book!

User

They have strict policy that everything has to stay off the grass and stay on the gravel pad - which is fine but watch for the sprinkle system that comes on at 230am - it soaked our entire site - Tent, fire pit, fire wood, lawn chairs, everything.

Pulled out quite a bit of garbage in the swimming area water.

Didn't find the staff to be all that friendly when asking for information or just passing by on the road.

User

Just spent 1 night....nice enough place. Wouldn’t stay again due to their rules on only certain breed of dogs. Almost got turned away due to having a rottie, had to beg to stay!

User

Alright campground and ok fishing. Store is a joke and will take down there hours off the door to shut down early.

All I can say is bring everything ya need cause one trip to the closed store and off to bassano ya go.

Actually I have came to this campground at least 6 times a year for as long as I can remember but gonna quit coming here all because of some bad service, there's better places for the same price!

I recommend travers as they actually care you are their guest...

User

Use to camp here for years but it has gone downhill so bad in the past 5-10 years. I refuse to come back to this place

User

This campground is not group friendly. This is not a right place to have a big group. It only has one toilet and 2 showers. Their policy is not well communicated and are not consistent. We will never come back here to have a group camping. I do not recommend this campground.

User

Our family always enjoyed crawling valley campground, how ever I just read the rules regarding dogs..... I can tell you I will NEVER camp at this facility again, I will also make sure I let as many people as we possibly can know not to camp there either.

Your bullshit rules about no pitbulls and labeled them as vicious dogs is absolutely brutal, you people need to educate your selves, we speak about anti racism yet you will label a dog breed cause of its looks and how the mislabeling information that the media portrays of them.

If a campground doesn't want my dog who is apart of my family, they surly do not want the rest of my family or our business EVER!

I hope that more people see that and choose to avoid camping at your facilities also, there is many other places to go, camping at crawling valley is 110% off our list for good.

User

Just found out that this campground does not allow certain breeds of dogs based on misguided beliefs and complete ignorance. I will continue looking for a place to camp elsewhere.
