The Crazy Bag Lady is back to work :) My daughter-in-law has kindly let me commandeer some space in her massage treatment room that won't be used while she is taking a short maternity leave. The big day is only a week away!
Haven't got back to my sewing yet. Have been busy exploring the new town. Went right into Edmonton with my daughter-in-law for her OB appointments. Both of us managed to get stung by a wasp. We have some plans for setting up a temporary sewing space
The Crazy Bag Lady has been crazy busy getting ready to move and sewing for babies. Found enough baby fabric in my stash to make a contribution to the Elizabeth Fry Society. And knitting booties and mitts, of course. Just taking care of the last bit of packing and cleaning and hoping that I don't have to make another trip to the thrift shops. My niece and her husband have been kind enough to take me in while I am finishing up. I am going to be a Grandma later in August. What better excuse to retire a bit early and move off to Alberta? New adventures on the horizon. Will get back to the bags once I get settled
Wow! The Crazy Bag Lady shop is looking a little empty. But now that I have retired from my day job, I can get busy again. Always manage to find nice material....Moving to Alberta soon but always open to mail order
Won't show the dirt! Plain Jane grocery tote. Fully lined $10
This one is promised away. Just showing off some of the fun fabric that I find
Any ideas for the next giveaway?
This morning while I was at the grocery checkout, somebody commented on my cloth produce bags. I have a few that I did up as a quick stash buster and can always do custom sizes with fabric on hand. Will throw up some pics tomorrow
Thinking outside the box. The fabric for this bag had a former life as a hand-woven table runner that I found at a thrift shop Not for sale. Made it for myself
Congratulations, Charlene, winner of April giveaway
Something for Mommy's Little Helper Finished size approx 14" x"12 3 available $5 each
Feeling some eco-guilt today. Have been cooking so much for the freezer that I have run out of the usual plastic containers a couple of times and had to use Ziploc bags. Some of it is for a friend going into surgery next week and she prefers Ziploc so that she doesn't have to return containers. Makes sense. Some of it is for me so that I can concentrate more on other things. Life is not without some trade-offs
Made this for a Superhero friend

March giveaway winner is Gwen Nesbit. So many good answers, but she had the one that none of the rest of us thought of. Already have an idea for April :)
I received one of these bags as a gift. Excellent quality and workmanship! Always goes shopping with me!
