New employees suck. Not willing to do anything. Wish my old friend Amanda was in charge. Think Jim doesn't know anything about running a business. I'm going elsewhere from now on

Fast, friendly, great value and knowledgeable. They have processed my deer for a few years now.

Just beautiful Alberta beef and a seriously awesome bbq pig! My labour day bbq was made perfect with a feast of quality steaks and a 50 lb bbq pig!!!! I loved the Angus beef well trimmed and my porkapalooza. And really cool, the 50lb pig (properly prepped low and slow) was only like $190!!!

I've been using cute rite meats last year for processing my deer. Amanda provide a great service and super helpful. The steaks and roast were perfect and the sausage really tasty (the omas garlic is Amazing). I did brought another deer in today and can't wait to receive my steaks and smokies. My hunting partner and I will recommende this place for any hunter that are looking for a good place for their wild game processing.

Thanks for the great service again.

The bacon is not bacon it's smoked pork belly. The pepperoni sticks are far too spiced. Does anyone in Calgary offer good bacon?

We dropped a deep off with cut rite, ordered pepperoni, fresh sasuages, and cheddar smokies. a few weeks later we got a call saying that our deer was ready for pick up... service was quick, all the products were packaged nicely, pepperoni was alright, not good but not terrible. The Cheddar smokies were TERRIBLE biting through the casing they used was like trying to bite through a leather belt. the fresh sausages were equally if not more TERRIBLE than the smokies, they were extremely under seasoned ( if they were seasoned at all, its hard to tell) the texture of the meat is so fine it seems like they skipped the grinder and used a blender instead...and every third bite (if not every bite) there was chunks of bone. If i could leave a .5 star review I would. For any hunters out there reading this, Take your deer out to First Choice meats in Sundre it is well worth the drive.

I did not think it was possible to get bone in my pepperettes but every stick of the 4 packs I have eaten so far have bone fragment, all 12 packs are now labelled as dog treats. I even called them to complain and the response was that's not possible... I am even more angry because I took 2 full deer into the store and asked for sausage, pepperettes, and deer jerky. I was charged $750 for a poor tasting sausage and dog treats. I will never use this company again and do not recommend them.

I have very good experiences at cut rite meats! I only ever buy my meat from here. The staff if friendly! And jimmy the butcher cuts and wraps my steaks for me the way I like them. He does it custom for me. I find his prices very reasonable. And I buy my meat in bulk. His tenderloin steaks are amazing and I also love his rib eyes and rib steaks and t bones. I like to buy bulk hamburger in 1 pound packages from him so I always have hamburger on hand. If I have questions about meat and which to use for what I am cooking jimmy always recommends what I should use and is always correct! This is the best butcher shop in Calgary by far.
