Well my ride to conquer cancer was cut a bit short. At the 100km mark of Day 1 we were told the ride was cancelled due to poor air quality from the smoke. Still made it to camp though and overall it was still a great day. It was pretty inspiring to hear the opening ceremonies where a young Mother spoke who had cancer and was doing the ride. Collectively we raised over 8 million dollars for cancer research which is great.
