Good times at Dea's Place.

Check out some of the new play spaces I've been working on over the past few weeks with the help of some my fellow colleagues.

Every Christmas the families of Dea's Place get together in support of a local organization and do acts of kindness throughout the community. This year has been no exception with the donations of many new toys for Santa's Anonymous, put on by our local Grand Centre, Lions Club of Cold Lake. We managed to collect 44 new items of books, toys and games. Over the next few days the kind volunteers of Santa's Anonymous will wrap and distribute the toys to the children of families who are currently experiencing economical limitations in our residential area. Thank You to the volunteers of Santas Anonymous for putting on such a wonderful charity event. Thank You to the moms and dads of Dea's Place for providing someone's child a Christmas. Job well done and so proud to part of such an amazing group of people.

With back to school just around the corner it's time to update on our some summer fun!

A few good memories

What have we been up to for the past many months? Well check us out!

Fun times with friends this summer.

Paper roads and towns was an idea used specifically to offer a couple of our friends a fun and safe place to race their cars and crash into things. Not only was it successful but it offered the children an opportunity to be creative by allowing them to use their imagination and build on focus.

How about this for a fun color learning exercise! Blobs of paint covered with cotton pads, crushed by the pressure of a plastic play hammer to create unique color splats. Not only is it a fun way to learn colors but a great way to improve had eye coordination and learn about cause and effect.
This activity will definitely be a repeat 🎨
