Stayed here to ski, have stayed at the Rimrock and Fairmont. Both are 5 star hotels. The Delta charges 5 star rates but it doesn't offer 5 star service. The only thing you get is location and a clean room. Though twice during our stay they still hadn't cleaned our room after 4pm when we got back from skiing. Also, the ski lockers are down in a dungeon, you have to walk down narrow stairs through the parking garage to get to it. At other hotels they always take care of your skis for you. The staff is very rude and doesn't seem to want to be there. Would NOT recommend unless you get a very very cheap rate. It's pretty much like being in a mote with a good location.

Called front desk to asked if they can kindly heat up my food they said yes. Came down and was greeted by attitude. They said we will do it this time but only after making me feel super uncomfortable. Then one of the supervisor (morning) said it might take long, I kindly asked if he could deliver it to my room once is done and he said it will cost me 5$ for delivery fee. Ridiculous, talk about a great service experience. Way to ruin my lovely morning and throw away 40$ worth of food. Will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone, do not expect them to go above and beyond. Wish I could cancel the 2nd night and go somewhere else. Room is small but the hot.tub sauna is decent.

The location is farther than many other hotels in the area, although it's only about a 10 minute walk to town center. Rooms were clean and service was prompt as would be expected of such a hotel. Food at the restaurant was average.

Excellent service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always recommending activities to do around banff. The room and public areas are very clean. The food is amazing, and if you're looking for a lodge-like feel, you'll definitely get that here.

We stayed in a junior suite on the first floor facing main street during the second week of April. We found our room to be clean and spacious, with a great layout, and did not experience any problems with noise from the street. The rooms were decorated nicely, and the furniture was comfortable. The fireplace was a great touch. Marriott beds are amazing and this hotel was no exception. We got a good night's sleep every night.

Fantastic service. Great food. Helpful staff. And in the national park in Banff.

Night male manager poorly trained offering excuses instead of apologies for forgetting to call us when are room was ready to check in. Blamed it on the day staff. Didn't get room until we checked and by that time it was nearly dinner time. Found out room was actually ready hours earlier. Blamed us for not asking for our room earlier when they assured us that they would call us when it was ready. Never really apologized when confronted and said it was not his fault he did not check the notes from the day shift. Very unapologetic tone to his voice. We will not be staying with Delta again, and we travel more than 100 nights a year and gold members with Marriott.

Great hotel. No complaints. However I cant give a 5 star because of the Fairmonts on the area. The pool is excellent (salt spa). Other guests were impressed with the restaurant. Busy front main street.

The front desk staff are brutally incompetent. I've stayed here a few times, and kept booking with one of their massage therapists. They've booked appointments for entirely different days and showed no remorse or any apologies. I tried to have them send me confirmation that they cancelled my massage and I wouldn't be charged. Said they would do it, never did it. I've been trying to get a copy of a receipt for my insurance and it's been impossible. The only reason it's getting two stars is because of the spa service. But the front desk makes everything so impossible it's not worth it. Look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience! Very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating staff. Our room is beautiful and spotless. Conveniently located right on Banff Ave. Reasonably priced, and we got a CAA discount.

User

Solid accommodation and good service. Nothing mind blowing

Stayed here for 6 nights and everyone was super friendly. Hotel is very clean. They even wash your car windshield when it gets covered in mud from the snow. Docking 1 star just because the hotel is a little dated. But overall I don't think you'll be disappointed.
