Injectors are not a serviceable item and should be removed for testing or replaced every 150,000 km (90,000 mi).
We like to remind our customers that an injector failure, especially from worn out or contaminated fuel system causing an engine failure is not covered under warranty.

As we deal with dozens of freight companies DFC can arrange transportation from our facility to you for generally no more than 150.00-250.00 anywhere in Canada. We always cover the cost of the return freight up to 200.00 as long as you contact our office and we arrange shipping.

We would highly recommend a direct purchase from DFC Diesel to anyone who is in the market for a new engine! We had an excellent experience at DFC Diesel! Through their actions (Matt, the owner & Kyle in charge of warranties) made it clear that their main goal was to ensure that we had an excellent motor that was installed correctly, so that we could feel confident in the quality & durability of our new motor.



We had purchased our DFC Diesel motor through a different shop, who had in turn contracted out the install. At our 1,000 km oil change, we discovered that we had issues with the install. We tried unsuccessfully to deal with the original shop. Our trust in that company went down to zero & we had grave concerns about letting that company work on our engine. As a result, the truck & motor ended up back at DFC. Not only did DFC stand behind their warranty, they went above & beyond when they worked to diagnose & repair the many errors made during the “install” by a different company.



When we picked up our truck, we had a tour of the facility. We were impressed! The facility was very well organized into stations & assembly lines, which were equipped with state of the art equipment & technology. The facility was immaculately clean and completely free of any of the clutter one might expect to find in a machine shop.



We are grateful to Matt & Kyle for all the time, energy & workmanship they expended on our behalf – we are now completely happy with our new & improved engine!

We had DFC put a built engine in our 2005 Duramax work truck about a year ago now from their mechanic and the truck runs like a champ. Had the Tow Package installed with the other upgrade for the Carrillo Rods. We cannot be happier with the outcome, we feel it was money well spent. Had the shop tour and can say that the people, machines, and technology they have is top notch.

They seem to have good stuff but they don't have anything for the 7.3l powerstroke but I guess if you have a good thing there's no need to fix it just be nice to have better options

The only company that will bend over backwards to ensure customer satisfaction. Always impressed with their builds that exceed OEM standards plus mild to wild performance builds that will last.

The most reliable late model diesel engine re manufacturer we have ever dealt with! Have installed dozens of engines with only a small % of warranty issues which were dealt with promptly. Would recommend DFC to anyone looking for a late model diesel engine.

The knowledge is next to none,the professionalism is of the highest standards. This is the ONLY place to buy a diesel motor to get a Quality product that this business stands behind 100%! My new dfc 5.9 cummins is amazing far smoother than any stock motor very high quality motor lots of Power right out of the box very well built

Just picked up my truck from #BIGTWINDIESEL in Boise with a fresh #DFCDIESEL 5.9 in it. Power feels great and speedy delivery.

I've worked with many of their engines at my shop and have had no issues with any of the rebuilt ones I have received. They were friendly and great to deal with.

I recently had to deal with DFC on a warranty issue on a 6.4 Powerstroke. I purchased the truck used with the DFC rebuild already installed.



I have nothing but great things to say, the warranty process was simple with no headaches at all. I shipped them my long block and a few weeks later I had a fresh one to drop in. They were also very helpful answering a few tech questions as I was installing the rebuild myself. They really stand behind their products.



I just did the 1000 K oil change on the new long block and its running better than ever.



I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a rebuilt diesel, and will be looking to them if I am ever in the market myself.

I have a 6.7 DFC long block in my 08 Ram. Great engine, has had no issues and has been in the truck for over 2 years. Truck is on 38s with a big turbo and pulls holiday trailer and toys on a regular basis and has never given a lick of trouble.

Have a DFC full race 6.4 long. Top quality and service. Holding 1248rwhp with it. Would recommend DFC for all your engine needs. Defently will be replacing my work truck block with another DFC race engines.

Finally got my core charge back after some type of misunderstanding, and I want to tell everyone my Cummins diesel engine now runs better than it ever has. It produces more power with less heat than any other Dodge/Cummins diesel engine I have ever owned, and I have been running them since 1988. I did install a larger turbo, larger inter-cooler, larger air intake and larger exhaust, (all from BD Diesel) to complete the project, but I now have soooo much usable power on the highway, even when pulling a trailer that it should almost be illegal! Many thanks to the folks at DFC Diesel!

Dfc has great staff and a great warranty and do not cut corners!

DFC built the long block for my 6.4 last year, they use the best parts on the market, had amazing quality checks/service and turn around time was faster than I expected. My 6.4 went on to dyno 1218rwhp & 1936tq at BD Diesel and didn't skip a beat. I daily drive this truck and consistently put it thought its paces and haven't had any problems. I would highly recommend DFC to anyone looking for an engine built by the best craftsman around.

We bought a brand new complete long block drop in motor from this company a couple of years ago. We had the truck back from the instalment at ford for a very short period of time when the truck had to be taken back! Ford had some back and forth with this company and told us that after inspection the injectors were faulty and when checking for damage in the cylinders they noticed scoring and scratching in the walls were way beyond specs caused from very poor machining! Ford actually refused to put the motor back together so DFC at that time did send us a replacement warranty motor! After a year we again have the truck in the shop with problems! On inspection head gaskets were shot due to cracked heads! On some back and forth again DFC stated that's it ok to use cracked heads as long as they hold pressure! Our sask mechanic has refused to work on the motor with cracked heads for concern. DFC has refused to warranty the second motor now and is blaming a faulty product on driving! Be warned all- spend a little more money on a well made product from a reputable company- not one who sells products they refuse to warranty or products that are by far sub standard and acceptable only to them!!

Terrible customer service - after several attempts to get a 6.4 that actually got us back on the road after months of downtime and lost income - and pampering that motor - never hauling over weight - always servicing before recommended Km - and never driving more than 105km/h - bottom end went out again and they refused to work with us on resolution. Saw another truck advertising that DFC did the motor for them - definitely NOT a selling feature!!! Run away...

I replaced the original 6.4 powerstroke with a complete longblock from DFC, not even at 20000 km and motor was knocking, took it to the garage that installed the motor and motor had worn out crank and rod bearings. DFC said I had used poor quality of oil and that is what caused the problem. No Warranty. sent proof that oil changes were done(great Canadian oil change, amsoil) said they stand bye their original statement and no Warranty.

I have a 6.7 DFC long block in my 08 Ram. Great engine, has had no issues and has been in the truck for over 2 years. Truck is on 38s with a big turbo and pulls holiday trailer and toys on a regular basis and has never given a lick of trouble.

Have a DFC full race 6.4 long. Top quality and service. Holding 1248rwhp with it. Would recommend DFC for all your engine needs. Defently will be replacing my work truck block with another DFC race engines.

Finally got my core charge back after some type of misunderstanding, and I want to tell everyone my Cummins diesel engine now runs better than it ever has. It produces more power with less heat than any other Dodge/Cummins diesel engine I have ever owned, and I have been running them since 1988. I did install a larger turbo, larger inter-cooler, larger air intake and larger exhaust, (all from BD Diesel) to complete the project, but I now have soooo much usable power on the highway, even when pulling a trailer that it should almost be illegal! Many thanks to the folks at DFC Diesel!

DFC built the long block for my 6.4 last year, they use the best parts on the market, had amazing quality checks/service and turn around time was faster than I expected. My 6.4 went on to dyno 1218rwhp & 1936tq at BD Diesel and didn't skip a beat. I daily drive this truck and consistently put it thought its paces and haven't had any problems. I would highly recommend DFC to anyone looking for an engine built by the best craftsman around.

We bought a brand new complete long block drop in motor from this company a couple of years ago. We had the truck back from the instalment at ford for a very short period of time when the truck had to be taken back! Ford had some back and forth with this company and told us that after inspection the injectors were faulty and when checking for damage in the cylinders they noticed scoring and scratching in the walls were way beyond specs caused from very poor machining! Ford actually refused to put the motor back together so DFC at that time did send us a replacement warranty motor! After a year we again have the truck in the shop with problems! On inspection head gaskets were shot due to cracked heads! On some back and forth again DFC stated that's it ok to use cracked heads as long as they hold pressure! Our sask mechanic has refused to work on the motor with cracked heads for concern. DFC has refused to warranty the second motor now and is blaming a faulty product on driving! Be warned all- spend a little more money on a well made product from a reputable company- not one who sells products they refuse to warranty or products that are by far sub standard and acceptable only to them!!

Terrible customer service - after several attempts to get a 6.4 that actually got us back on the road after months of downtime and lost income - and pampering that motor - never hauling over weight - always servicing before recommended Km - and never driving more than 105km/h - bottom end went out again and they refused to work with us on resolution. Saw another truck advertising that DFC did the motor for them - definitely NOT a selling feature!!! Run away...

I replaced the original 6.4 powerstroke with a complete longblock from DFC, not even at 20000 km and motor was knocking, took it to the garage that installed the motor and motor had worn out crank and rod bearings. DFC said I had used poor quality of oil and that is what caused the problem. No Warranty. sent proof that oil changes were done(great Canadian oil change, amsoil) said they stand bye their original statement and no Warranty.

We would highly recommend a direct purchase from DFC Diesel to anyone who is in the market for a new engine! We had an excellent experience at DFC Diesel! Through their actions (Matt, the owner & Kyle in charge of warranties) made it clear that their main goal was to ensure that we had an excellent motor that was installed correctly, so that we could feel confident in the quality & durability of our new motor.



We had purchased our DFC Diesel motor through a different shop, who had in turn contracted out the install. At our 1,000 km oil change, we discovered that we had issues with the install. We tried unsuccessfully to deal with the original shop. Our trust in that company went down to zero & we had grave concerns about letting that company work on our engine. As a result, the truck & motor ended up back at DFC. Not only did DFC stand behind their warranty, they went above & beyond when they worked to diagnose & repair the many errors made during the “install” by a different company.



When we picked up our truck, we had a tour of the facility. We were impressed! The facility was very well organized into stations & assembly lines, which were equipped with state of the art equipment & technology. The facility was immaculately clean and completely free of any of the clutter one might expect to find in a machine shop.



We are grateful to Matt & Kyle for all the time, energy & workmanship they expended on our behalf – we are now completely happy with our new & improved engine!

We had DFC put a built engine in our 2005 Duramax work truck about a year ago now from their mechanic and the truck runs like a champ. Had the Tow Package installed with the other upgrade for the Carrillo Rods. We cannot be happier with the outcome, we feel it was money well spent. Had the shop tour and can say that the people, machines, and technology they have is top notch.

They seem to have good stuff but they don't have anything for the 7.3l powerstroke but I guess if you have a good thing there's no need to fix it just be nice to have better options

The most reliable late model diesel engine re manufacturer we have ever dealt with! Have installed dozens of engines with only a small % of warranty issues which were dealt with promptly. Would recommend DFC to anyone looking for a late model diesel engine.

I've worked with many of their engines at my shop and have had no issues with any of the rebuilt ones I have received. They were friendly and great to deal with.

I recently had to deal with DFC on a warranty issue on a 6.4 Powerstroke. I purchased the truck used with the DFC rebuild already installed.



I have nothing but great things to say, the warranty process was simple with no headaches at all. I shipped them my long block and a few weeks later I had a fresh one to drop in. They were also very helpful answering a few tech questions as I was installing the rebuild myself. They really stand behind their products.



I just did the 1000 K oil change on the new long block and its running better than ever.
