Very helpful. Mark fixed the problem in the bathroom then went the extra mile to arrange for repairs to our damaged floor. Much appreciated that Mark could do this for us.

We had an old inefficient boiler with an indirect heated hot water tank. DHL gave us a quote for a top of the line high efficiency, self modulating boiler and a replacement fibreglass, indirect hot water tank that was only marginally more than the quote for a mid efficiency boiler from other companies. They took away the old boiler, flattened the concrete to make that space useful and mounted everything on the wall of the furnace room. Everyone who sees the furnace asks who did it because it is both beautiful and works great. Heating bills are super low. There is no "heat escape" to the rest of the house from the boiler heating the hot water during the summer. They have a cool system that eliminates the annual back flow check valve inspection ($$$$) as part of the design.

Great components in a really good design, expertly installed.

One thing: with this design, manual zone shut off valves aren't required... get them taken out while the system is empty of water ( I didn't).

I hired Mark to do the HVAC when finishing my basement. He installed an in floor heating system including new boilers, retrofit slab, indirect hot water, replaced furnaces with hydronic air handlers and A/C. I had multiple companies quote and Mark was by far the most knowledgable and flexible to meet my needs. He worked with me to improve the design including adding duct damper controls to balance the temperature between floors. He also improved existing ducting to improve airflow and maintain ceiling height. The quality of workmanship was great. It was a big job so not unexpectedly there were some issues with the system but he followed up to get it all working properly. Completely satisfied, thanks Mark!

Mark was great - knowledgeable, honest and even came back for a recall when I needed him too with no conflict at all. Definitely the best plumber I've used in Calgary.
