I'm giving DD five stars because they make one of my favourite burgers in town, the Bridgeland Burger. Not to discount the rest of the menu, there's a lot of talent in this kitchen, and they regularly make ridiculously good specials too.

I dream about Diner Deluxe when we're apart. I've gone 4 times in the last 3 weeks. Unreal food.

Great food that is prepared fast and served by friendly staff. Only downfall is the wait for a table on the weekends.

Food is awesome, atmosphere is cool and retro! Hope to go back soon!

Best breakfast on the planet.

Had breakfast at Diner Deluxe on Jan 31 - first time. I enjoyed it very much - better than the other "place down the street". :-)

Although they've got some great dishes and are a staple in the community, almost every breakfast will come to $20 (sans drink)... and $2.50 for a tomato upgrade?? I wish places like this would encourage healthy eating by making the substitutes a little more reasonable since the dishes are on the high side. I imagine a tomato is no harder than cooking the potatoes, though I can see how there would be more potential spoilage costs. Also was a bit annoyed by the different things that ended up in my plate that weren't supposed to be (took a picture). It is quite loud on weekends as one would expect. It would be nice if they had some kind of a loyalty discount especially for people who live in the area and have been coming to the place for a long time.
