The Dionysos Dancers from the cultural group Lihnari, came together in the spring of 1983 at the Hellenic Community Centre of Edmonton and Region. The original group was primarily Greek in origin but throughout the years, it has diversified and accommodated all. The Dionysos Dancers have been involved in many performances, workshops and competitions throughout the years. Notable performances include Toronto's Greek Days, Calgary's Greek Festival, Victoria's Greek Festival as well as our own Edmonton Heritage Festival.
