Excellent customer service! I made a last minute call to rent a big square truck for moving. They not only arranged the truck for me but also gave me a good deal on it. Moreover the staff there was very well behaved. I think it was Arjun and Amel that helped me and I was very satisfied with their friendly behaviour. Ps - the truck was good on gas and was in a very good condition

It was my first time to rent car from Discount but I think, it is the last time. The service was so incredible. I returned the car on time and clean , was no problem and I checked out. I forgot my small bag inside the trunk. I called so many times over a month every time they start the case from the beginning , it was so boring at the end they said we don't have it but we will call you later. No one call me until this moment. I just want to tell everyone go with any different companies and keep away from this wearing company especially this location.

Abby's customer service was phenomenal and next to none. I was very impressed with how I was treated. There was an issue with my company account and Abby went above and beyond in making sure it was resolved. Thank you Abby for your service, appreciated!

Kudos to the amazing staff at this car rental location! not only was our shuttle from the airport to the rental location very pleasant due to the friendly and helpful driver, our check in process was painless (very friendly and helpful staff) and we were very happy with the vehicle provided. At the end of our holidays, we had a medical emergency which caused us great stress and, without getting into the details, put us in a position that we did not know what to do with the rental car that we were not able to drive back to the lot. The staff went above and beyond to help us during this very difficult time and we will be forever grateful for their kindness! thank you , thank you!!!!

5 star service. Arjuna was very professional and kind. I'm travelling with 5 kids and when we arrived at the depot he offered us all bottled waters. They helped us fit the car seat and pack all our baggage into the car.
I would use them again as my first choice and highly recommend them to my family and friends. Thank You. ;))

Very Friendly and helpful staff. I picked up the car from the Calgary international airport location. Their branch manager is a superb individual and very hands on person. He was constantly insuring that every employee provide the best service to their customers and stepped in when I needed help.

US drivers be warned: the company demands written proof that your US car insurance covers rentals in Canada, and you will not be able to get a car until the insurance company sends an official confirmation. This is literally the only car rental office in the world where I encountered this requirement in many years of travel. Best to avoid. That said, people working at the office are very nice and helpful, wish the company had more reasonable policies.

Staff is very friendly and cooperative. I reserved a cargo van online. I visited the branch to customize my reservation, and met Christine. She was so helpful and agreed to make all changes. Unfortunately, these changes were not saved on the system and Christine was not there when I returned to the branch. However, the staff just did the changes again with more discount! The car was great except that it had no remote key (only regular key) and that was inconvenient at all. Otherwise, great car, good price, friendly staff. I would recommend this branch to others.

Service was fantastic. Car was brand new and a joy to drive. I really appreciate them notifying me that I left my drivers license in the car. They even went through the trouble to send it to me in Vancouver! Definitely highly recommended.

The boys at the Hopewell location were just amazing !! I'm from Ontario, and I got the most respect. They were funny caring , and sooooo helpful. Amazing !!!! Great bunch of men and women !! Thank you for the water. Aka scotch ! Highly recommended. From the Sudbury Ontario gal !!

This place is terrible! I booked a reservation 2 months ago to get my truck repaired and called the morning before to confirm that they were picking me up at the auto shop. The lady on the phone (Janice) was nasty. She told me that she couldn't help me without a reservation number. I told her that I wasn't given a number and she said yes you were... I asked her if she could look it up by my name and she refused saying that she had to have the reservation number. She then put me on hold for almost 5 minutes then came back and asked me if I found the number yet. I was furious and asked for her Manager and she said he's busy. At one point I raised my voice at her and she hung up on me. I had to call their headquarters to confirm my reservation. They found it quickly without a reservation number and confirmed my reservation. About 10 minutes later Janice calls me to confirm my reservation and at the end adds on, "you didn't have to make things too difficult for us". She also told me that it was rude for me to call their main office. Then she advised me that it was for a mid size car and not a truck. I booked a truck and am approved for a truck. She told me that I am only approved for a mid sized car. I called back later and canceled my reservation. My insurance company arranged for "Enterprise" to pick me up the next morning instead. I will NEVER use Discount again, even if it is offered free.

I had a pleasant experience at this location and will definitely return. Their 11 PM closing time was very convenient for me.
