Very poor and disappointing customer service. I came back for a fix of my hair that I was extremely unhappy with, to be told that I not only had to pay MORE money to get fixed, but to be constantly told that it was the style I had asked for. I have been getting the same dye/style for over a year now and have never had any issues as bad as this. Definitely will not be going back to this place, way over priced for terrible service! Brittany is the worst stylist. I noticed that when we were making conversations, she rolled her eyes a few times at a few questions I asked her about my hair. Well, I'm not a professional so the answers are not obvious to me, but there is no need to be rude. I didn't want to start an argument so I just gently gave her my honest feedback, and she lost her temper. There were only a few people at the salon, so maybe she thought she could get away with it. I thought I was here to see a professional, not a little girl who couldn't control her temper. When I got home, I noticed that there were spots on my hair that she missed when coloring. Also, she cut my hair way shorter than I asked for. I asked for a little shorter, and then instead of SHOWING me with her fingers the length, she started chopping and then said, "Like this?" At that time, she already chopped off too much, so what was I supposed to say? This is disappointing because there are stylists there who are good, but Brittany seems to be a one-off.

So disappointed about the customer service at this place! Sara did a terrible job on my sisters hair and tried to charge her even more money to fix it! After paying $190. Definitely will not be going back

I have been seeing Brooke for about 5 years now. She always does an amazing job on my hair! I won't go anywhere else to get my hair done. Everyone there is always so nice as well.

We have been using Diva Salon exclusively for about 15 years as we live blocks away and have always been happy with their services. But our last visit was bad enough to decide to say goodbye. My daughter and I came in together for hair for a special occasion. Both of us had nothing even close to what we had asked for. The stylist then offered to do makeup and proceeded to draw two black slugs where my daughters eyebrows are. She glued eyelashes on that were too big and were sticking out the end of her eyes. We went home in a panic and tried to wash this stuff off to no avail. My daughter was in tears. I had intended to call and ask for our money back but from reading other reviews, I can see that would be a fruitless exercise.

After years of going to the Mount Royal location exclusively for hair cuts, and buying their hair and makeup products (not including the times I quickly popped into another Aveda store to top up on products) they refused to refund me for a $300+ mistake that they made. They don't do refunds. Ok, I don't do return business. Beware to those who have their hair done for a special occasion, can you get that night back? No, so I'm not sure why they offer to "do it again to get it right" when that time has gone now.

Jamie gave me one of the best hair cuts of my life. This salon is the right mix of urban cool and relaxing - I feel comfortable and always leave looking great.

I had my natural hair growth with natural/light blonde ends (like ombre). Wanted few natural blonde highlights at the front of my face. The girl wasn't getting exactly what I wanted. At the end I left with yellow highlights and big bill to pay. Also the girls at the front desk could behave nicer...
