Acathamoeba keratitis is one of the worst eye infections and you get it just from being in water. Contact lens wearers are especially high risk and treatment options are limited.

This is a great team of committed and caring folks. I've had to darken their doors frequently over the last few years and they are always accommodating friendly. Dr. Leinweber takes time to answer additional questions whenever I have them and when he's away I have great faith his colleagues and their expertise. The whole team at Doctors Eyecare is top tier!

I was referred by a physician for one eye problem, which turned out to be a simple issue, but wonderful Dr. Sperber noticed some slight tears in the other eye, referred me to the Retina Clinic in Edmonton who immediately completed laser eye surgery!! I would have never known and had she not spotted the rips when she did, it could have resulted in serious eye problems. Thank you :)

I have been coming here for nearly 20 years, and they have maintained an incredible level of quality. I wouldn't consider switching - and it is an hour trip to get here!

They are excellent with children - I've been bringing my daughter since she was 2, and she has had nothing but positive experiences.

They have an excellent selection of frames, and the staff is very helpful with selection. Don't hesitate to ask for help!

Dr. Stockley has been an amazing eye Dr for me and my family for the past 10 years. I highly recommend her and her office. From the yearly check ups, to emergency eye care to eye concerns/questions, Dr Stockley is very personable, GREAT with young kids and very knowledgeable!.

Dr. Leinweber has looked after my eye health for well over 20 years. He and his entire staff are very caring and professional, both knowledgeable and friendly.

Dr Johnson has been a great help with my ongoing eye health! I will continue seeing him and am most grateful for his assistance. As a retired mental health therapist who worked in a hospital Dr Johnson listens and demonstrates his care that is a rare breed in modern health care! Five stars!

Awesome service and care. Didn’t wait very long and the staff are super nice. Love the high tech too.

After going to a different place near the downtown for years, and usually being unimpressed, I finally broke away from that place and came here. I was really impressed with the difference in attention to detail. And when faced with what appeared to be a small ripple/tear in my retina, they were able to book me in at a specialist the same day.



The previous place also offered me daily disposables that weren't Toric. The optometrist there insisted that I'd be fine that way, but in all honesty I really did need the Toric types. Doctors EyeCare offered me monthly use contacts, which had not been offered at the last office. Oh, I'm sure the other place offered them, but not to me. This was a far better option than the daily disposables, and these monthly ones were Toric, which is what I needed. HUGE difference in vision quality.

Absolutely amazing service!

We are from fort mcmurray evacuated without my sons glasses and only the contacts I had in my eyes... They offered us free check ups and new glasses and contacts!!! Everyone we dealt with in the office were just amazing!!! I can't say enough about all the caring staff!!!!

Had a very good experience here. I was seen in a timely manner, provided assistance with figuring out my insurance and will get a follow up once my lenses and contacts are in! Thank you for the friendly and helpful experience :)
