The vegetable part of today's catering with black olive-almond-date tapenade, white bean hummus with extra virgin olive oil and Za'atar spice. We had great service, that always kicks off the evening well. Combined with good food and wine recommendations. Perogies were so good i had to down play it, just in case anyone wanted a taster! Hahha, we thought we were done and then desert happened and we just couldn’t say no. Lemon tarts and cheesecake finished the night.

We are so lucky to have a beautiful river valley in Edmonton. The Dogwood Cafe, with its constant emphasis on very good food reasonably-priced, is an excellent place to enjoy it. During winter, weekends are a great time to gather with my grown children and grandchildren for a shared brunch and good conversation. A joyful energy permeates the room. I have recently been to Dogwood Cafe for the supper on Thursday and Friday evenings, and it was wonderful. Highly, highly recommended.

The Culina gang delivers an excellent meal, as always. We were very sad when Culina Millcreek closed, it was a favourite. Dinner at the Dogwood cafe made up for the loss. Classic appies like french onion soup and ceasar salad were executed perfectly. My salmon plate was awesome, the dill hollandaise putting it over the top. My husband enjoyed his meatballs and perogies. Service was professional without being overbearing. We really love the Culina brand, will be back to Dogwood sometime soon, we both want to try the brisket.

New winter dinner menu is fantastic, on par with the best restaurants up the hill. Worth the drive or, better yet, the walk down the stairs into the valley.

My steak was excellent - best patio view of the valley in YEG.

My family had many wonderful brunches there this past winter. Look forward to next year,

Culina Family restaurants have been Family favourites since they opened the first one in Millcreek years ago; the Dogwood Cafe is a great addition, great service, atmosphere and consistently delicious food....we will be back soon.

As she made grille cheese sandwich- her back was turned and still continue to talk to other person. Made us feel unwelcomed.
