About Domenico'S Deli
Domenico’s Deli became a bucket list idea when it became apparent of the difficulties in getting high quality Italian add-ons for the pasta Sunday get together we have here in Grande Prairie Alberta held at our home on a regular basis.
Domenic and Lorraine enjoyed having people around their dinner table, talking, eating and enjoying good food and good company. Like many Italian families pasta Sunday is a common tradition.
The Deli will host Italian flavors brought in from different parts of Italian. Domenic’s mom was raised in middle Italy and his dad is from the south. Each part of Italy bring different flavors, traditions on recipes and of course, each believe theirs is best. We believe all flavors are all worth a chance to try!
Others flavors will be represented from other countries as well, including Canada. Domenic and Lorraine believe there are so many fabulous flavors to be enjoyed that bringing them to Grande Prairie was the best way to share what we enjoy with the place we call home. And, like coming home, when you walk into the deli you will get the feeling of being in grandmas (Nonna’s) kitchen.

A few new treats in our cooler today and only here for a short time. Fried chocolet filled croissant with homemade gelato and syrup flavor of your choice.
New York style pastrami and made in house, hot spicy olives.
A little pastrami, a little chorizo, your favorite cheese ..... makes a snack fit for a king.
New to our cooler this week is a smoked pastrami. We can make you a sandwich or you can take some home.
We made two kinds of cookies today! Come by and try our new cinnamon roll oatmeal cookie and a new recipe (this one has more chocolate) for chocolate salami. We also have a few chocolate coconut cream pies left. See you soon 😁

Sometimes even when the boss is here we like to reinvent recipes. At the top is our bacon chocolate chip cookie and at the bottom is our new bacon chocolate chip spicy salami cookie😁 Come on in and get one before they're gone

Pasta Sunday countdown begins
We are serving pasta on July 22, pick up between 3 and 5:30. Orders must be in by Saturday the 21st.
Homemade from noodle to sauce.
Sometimes when the boss is away we like to make our treat recipes our own way 😁 Come by and try our ever so slightly different Chocolate Coconut Cream Pie (still made without wheat, dairy, or refined sugar). We also have our traditional chocolate chip cannoli, two new variations of cannoli (toasted almond and toasted coconut), and a couple of Chocolate Salami cookies left (not actually made with meat😀)
Don't forget to get your order in for Pasta Sunday coming up this weekend on July 22nd. Please place your order by Saturday at 6pm so we can be sure to have enough homemade noodles, sauce, meatballs, and bread to get you fed up good and proper like Nonna would want 😀

What a fantastic place! Cannot say enough positive things about Domenico's. It's a quaint Italian style deli and I love every bit of it. The meat is fresh and the service was excellent. The cannoli was especially great. Imported Italian sodas were also great.
Overall it was an awesome way to start our picnic.
Was so excited to find out an Italian Deli was open in Grande Prairie! And I must say it didn't disappoint! I had a delicious sandwich and was over the moon to see they sold the spicy pickled eggplant! The service was top notch! I highly recommend checking it out! I will be a repeat customer for sure!
Walking in to the restaurant you can tell it's going to be amazing based on the smell and super friendly staff! I had the Italian Job sandwich, which was stacked high with meat and made with fresh bread, I had to save half of it for later. Will definitely be back and would recommend trying it out!
Today I stopped in for the first time. The place smelled amazing which made me want a sandwich. However I’m currently low carb’n it so that was out of the question. The wonderful ladies working there came up with a low carb version of the Italian Job.

This place is fantastic. Their ham panino sandwich is fresh and delicious and I absolutely love the Bike sodas. Very clean place, and the staff is very helpful (being as I have no idea what most of the stuff on the menu is haha). Definitely recommend to anyone looking for some fresh local food. DON'T MISS THE CANNOLIS!
The sandwiches are fantastic and piled high with delicious meats and cheeses, the homemade soups are insane. Everyone needs to try this place out. You won't be disappointed. See you next time!
Stopped by on my way to work.... never been before. ... the smells are mouthwatering... the snack trays full of wonderful flavors meats cheeses and crackery treats ... and the canolli holy moly! Will definitely be back!
Sandwiches that are absolutely jaw dropping I can't get enough food from these wonderful people.
Really pleased with this business...they supplied large high-quality trays of cheeses and meats and vegetables/fruits for a large group at an exceptional price.
Our family LOVED the meat and cheese tray we got over the weekend. They customized it to our tastes perfectly. Everything was very fresh and lots of different flavours. Thank you!
My husband and I love everything here! We've had sandwiches, soups, juice, Italian sodas, and of course the cannolis! Tried the jalapeño mayo today and it was also amazing! What we love most of all is the kind hearted owners who are so friendly and welcoming everytime we come in! Well, and the cheese samples, who doesn't love those?!? �
Ladies were very Friendly and accommodating for my custom order, and it tasted great, will eat here again and try out some of the different cheeses as well!�
Just had my first sandwich from Domenico's and it was delicious! All of the staff are very pleasant and they play 2day FM to boot!
Just had lunch there and the staff were sooo nice which is refreshing in Grande prairie. The sandwich we had was delicious and we had the choice to customize it to our liking. We are definitely going to go back.
First of all, I was THRILLED to finally find a place in Grande Prairie that offers homemade cannoli!!!! Lorrain & Dom were amazing! Superb customer service - they treated me like family!!! Can't wait to go back to try a Mortadella sandwich and get some pear juice! Truly genuine and wonderful people, and I am ecstatic that there is something like this here now!!!!
Can't get enough of the fresh sandwiches, homemade cannoli's and the pear juice. This place has a crazy selection of meats and cheeses and the owners are so generous with the samples.
Love how there is a dine-in option but the seating is limited and this place has been getting increasingly slammed especially during lunch hours so this is something to plan ahead for!
Bought some amazing sandwiches and canolli for an impromptu picnic today. Delicious fresh ingredients and very friendly owners.
No regrets. Will definitely have to come back again and again and try to work my way through their massive meat and cheese selection.
Because of the rave reviews of Domenico’s Deli from friends, my daughter and I decided to stop in for a visit. We were also highly impressed with the friendly, courteous customer service, and high quality selection of Italian style meats, cheeses and soups. Food samples were offered, and we ordered a sub. They’re substantially loaded! The taste of the buns, meats and cheese in the subs were fresh and delicious. We also purchased their imported smoked pancetta. We were told that it will fry up crisp, (just like bacon used to, back in the day! ) Sunday breakfast is going to be a treat! Thanks, Domenico’s Deli.

While I was paying for the flour I noticed some delicious looking cannolis and decided to return later in the afternoon to buy some and they were a huge hit after our dinner. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Will be back again!
