Who am I?
I have been a Nurse Practitioner since 2007 and a registered nurse since 1979. I have worked in almost every department in the hospital setting in Alberta, B. C. and Ontario. Before completing my NP education, I worked at the Alberta Children's Hospital for 17 years.
When I am not with clients, I teach in the Nurse Practitioner program at Athabasca University.
I am registered with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (who also regulates NPs).
What do you do?
I am committed to providing comprehensive primary health care to every client, and to hear your concerns and how your health is affecting your life. Together we will make a plan to help you get over an acute illness or optimize your health if you are living with a chronic illness.
I have experience with the health care needs of older adults, infants, women's health, men's health, and have a certificate in breastfeeding support.
Why should you consider me as your healthcare provider?
I offer full family practice services like screening for disease, physical exams, diagnosis and treatment of illness, ordering tests, managing chronic disease, and prescrbing medications and trreatments. I am happy to see clients from all ages, stages and orientations.
Clients in my practice will benefit from improved self-care, knowledge of their medications and illnesses, and will know how to become well, be well and stay well.
I am your partner in your health and health care, and I promise to put the CARE back into your healthcare experience.
Please come in for a meet and greet appointment (free of charge) and let's discuss your unique health needs and how we can work together for the good of your health and well-being.
