User

twas our first time today and will be back for more fun!!!! its worth the price we paid and worth the 6hour drive to visit this place....

User

We had the chance to go a couple of times last year and had so much fun. 1st time was for Mother's Day and we had a blast, my boys are older and it was a great family activity for us. Have recommended it to all of our friends. Can't wait to do it again this year.

User

We had a blast! Definitely will be back.

User

We all had a great time, adults and kids. The staff had no issues with us going as fast as we could. There were usually people stopped on the track or going slow, but there is plenty of room to fly by.

User

Took my son and his friends here for his birthday and we had a blast! My husband enjoyed it too!

User

Super fun! Inexpensive and very inclusive ! Great staff and a great experience !

User

So much fun! Staff were great. Definitely a place worth going to!

User

My second time trying out the Luge, albeit in a different country. Lots of fun for all ages. Look out for deals on groupon.

User

I'm 6'4", and over 250lbs, it was still one great adventure. I actually had my five year old with me, and going down the hill didn't feel uncomfortable at all. We both had a lot of fun.

User

I had been here many times with my long time gf. We took my best friend. He loved it. Wouldn't stop talking about it all night. I also had a great time. Need to get first riders through quicker somehow though. Especially on a Saturday in Calgary.

User

Haven’t gone due to lightening - quick response time on Facebook for inquiries though.

User

Had an enjoyable time! I would recommend doing at least 3 runs!

User

Great fun...

Took my 9 and 8yr old nephew and niece.

Kids loved it. One of them was a speed demon but she stopped middle track to fix her helmet. Omg.

The older one was wise and safe minded. Always courteous.

Us adults like to fire ourselves diwn the hill at top speed and some complain the staff slows them down... but look at the small kids on the course .

200lbs of adult travelling at 50-60 kph hits 45lbs of a light child who suddenly stopped on a curve or blind spot. Yeah... control is understandable.

Maybe a adult only time slot could be arranged for those adults that wine that staff slow them down.

Only concern was my niece's helmet strapping came loose mid ride...

All kids safety gear should be properly and thoroughly checked.

Awesome ride ... will do it again.

User

This was a super fun afternoon. 2 adults, 6 kids, got two family 8-packs and got 2 runs each. We can't wait to do it again.

The first run is good for learning; the 2nd run was way better, more confident. We would have liked to do a few more. If they'd lower the price a bit we would stay longer.

It is hard on the bum and hands (rattling), good to take a small break between runs.

User

This is a fantastic summer activity. The track is nice and long so you don't feel like it's over in 30 seconds. My boys, young and adult, loved it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it is too expensive in my opinion.

User

So fun. We did 4 runs down the hill. Took about an hour.

My only complaint is that it isn't so much when you get stuck behind slow riders and you have the need for speed. (Especially when you've paid $7 each for 4 people to go down.)

User

It was great fun. Few things i would change. I would put half the track to slow lane so all the very slow people can go on that side so the fast people dont get stuck. I get your doing the best thing by telling people to slow down but u have enough signs. If they go to fast and hurt themselves thats their own fault. You dont need to waste 4 people on the track to say slow down. Plus i saw people stop and take selfies on the track! Thats got to be a no no! It was quite expensive but what are you going to do with big corporations like that.

User

Visited on a family trip that ended in disaster husband got hit by a kid riding too fast and obviously didn't know how to use his break...my husband ended up with a broken foot 6 weeks off work and we had a 4 day drive back to Ontario with said broken human...they didn't even offer a refund....the customer service was terrible.

User

I tried to go to the Skyline Luge. The ticket centre was closed so it redirected us to the slow moving photo booth using a sign. I waited twenty minutes and the attendant took someone who got in line after me, who even left, and came back, and she still took them first. I did not think that I would need to manage the lines for the staff, so I just waited assuming they would help the person waiting the longest. At most services, if there are two people in the line and I arrive first, I would be served first; I waited my turn behind the woman in front of me. I just wanted to quickly buy tickets, not look at photos for fifteen minutes. When I pointed out that I had been waiting for twenty minutes and had arrived first, she told me curtly that she would help me after the person who arrived after I had already been waiting. When I finally was permitted assistance, I was told the luge was closed. Why wouldn't you put a sign on the ticket booth rather than making me wait for twenty minutes at the extremely slow and poorly managed photo booth? Horrible service! Given the indignant staff experience, I would not recommend to anyone.
