Dr. Kristina Zakhary - Rhinoplasty & Plastic Surgery Clinic

I've been looking into getting Botox done for quite some time now. A girlfriend of mine suggested I look into Dr.Kristina Zakhary 's clinic and I was pretty impressed by her 4.2 star rating. I decided to give it a go and contact her, and I ended up booking the procedure right after my consultation was done. Kristina did a phenomenal job throughout the surgery. She was on-call after as well and answered a slew of questions I had. She even booked a check-up to see how I was doing. All in all, she's a star.

All my life I've had dark circles under my eyes as a result of my South Asian heritage. I struggled with it and tried to hide it with make-up, treat it with serums and oils and ease it through yoga retreats and tropical vacations. These dark circles started to define me until enough was enough and I was finally referred via my family doctor, to Dr. Zakhary. She was phenomenal through it all, showing me before and after pictures and giving me brochures to read. She prepared me emotionally and physically for a journey that would help transform my life. It didn't happen overnight, it took time but now when I look in the mirror I don't have 'racoon eyes'. I feel young and bright and full of energy which Dr. Zakhary helped give back to me. I just had a rhinoplasty surgery done with Dr. Zakhary. She's probably the best plastic surgeon in Alberta. I wanted to get a bump on my nose reduced and I consulted quite a few plastic surgeons, who were all nice but quite pricey for what they charged. Dr. Zakhary had a great rate, but also was transparent the entire time. She told me about the surgery, what it would involve and told me how long it would take before I saw results. I had no illusions going on that I would magically get a new nose, and Dr. Zakhary echoed that and told me it's a process. She was with me, physically and emotionally the entire time and even had me back six weeks after the surgery to do a check-up. She wanted to ensure I got what I wanted and make sure that I was healing up nicely. Dr. Zakhary isn’t just a business woman, she's a person with dedication and a humble attitude.

It involves trust on both sides but I can confidentially say Dr. Zakhary is very trustworthy. She was professional and informative throughout the procedure and even followed up after the first three weeks to see how I was recovering.

I had the pleasure of visiting Doctor Kristina Zakhary for a consultation. I was extremely pleased with the level of service provided. Dr. Zakhary is an empathic woman who goes above and beyond to make sure her patients leave educated on the conditions they are concerned with. Her staff is very knowledgable, professional and took the time to attend to my questions, concerns - if you are lucky to get in with this physician - know that you are in great hands! This is not a fast-food-type dermatology clinic - Dr. Zakhary perfected the Art of beautiful skin and youthful look. With her unique techniques with attending to your face, you are bound to be content with the results. She is worth every penny!

A year ago I decided to do a rhinoplasty surgery, after contemplating it for years. I wanted to ensure I was in the best hands which is why it took me so long to finally decide to do it. When meeting with Dr. Zakhary and her team, I knew right away that's exactly what I had found! The whole process couldn't have been more relaxed. They are extremely comforting, and really do make sure they cater to all that you want. I wanted to remove a large bump on my bridge, make my tip and nose smaller, and breathe better. Dr. Zakhary listened closely and did exactly what I asked for plus she also straightened my nose Bonus! I only took pain killer on the first day as the process was almost painless. I would recommend doing any treatment with her, especially Rhinoplasty, as she truly is outstanding. The whole experience has been life changing, and I would do it all over again! I can't thank her enough!

I can't decide whether Dr. Zakhary is extremely incompetent/oblivious to what harm she is doing or simply thrives on ruining young people's faces?? I couldn't have chosen a worse doctor if I tried. I had a lip lift with her and she resected so much skin, I look borderline deformed. My nostrils are pulled down and out! I had NO knowledge this procedure was going to affect my nose at all. When I brought it up, she dismissed it like it was all in my head. Also, she didn't even try to hide the incision and placed it so low and almost in the middle of my white lip, so now I'm stuck with an ugly inch long scar that is very embarrassing and cannot be properly concealed with makeup. At follow up appointments Dr. Zakhary minimized my concerns by making statements such as ''this is just how it healed'', ''no one can tell you had a lip lift'' (that's true-no one can tell; they all think I had an accident!!), and at one point suggested I cover it with powder even while I still had an open wound with visible dissolvable suture knots sticking out of it. Really!?

Office staff matches the doctor. Very pretentious. I cannot count how many times her assistant Shelby called me ''dear'', said that I'm ''in good hands'', and ''we'll be with you every step of the way''. Every time she tried to tell me that things are looking better despite it being not true and me not asking for her input. On one occasion, she even blurted out that I ''signed a waiver, and therefore shouldn't complain''. Excuse me?! Apparently, I signed my face away along with that waiver and should enjoy the horrible outcome.

SHAME ON YOU DR. ZAKHARY. Cannot hide behind self-written ''amazing'' reviews forever. I'm horrified that doctors like you still have their medical license.

I had a facelift and neck liposuction with Dr.Zakhary one year ago and then about 2 weeks ago I had Botox treatments with her as well. I am really pleased with the results.I feel the overall effect with my earlier surgery together with the Botox is helping me feel much more confident in my appearance. It makes me so much more enthusiastic about maintaining a healthy diet and have regained a strong desire to stay on track with my fitness regime, and overall take good care of myself. I feel and look better at 70 than at 55 really really really. Also I feel much more in charge of my life than ever before and have even discovered that I am no longer this invisible aging woman.
