Dr. Michael Breen - Chiropractor

Dr. Michael Breen is a Chiropractor in Calgary, Alberta who focuses on sport,
lifestyle and nutritional care.

Dr. Breen graduated from the University of Calgary in 1981 with an Honours
degree in Physical Education. At the U of C, Dr. Breen focused on the areas
of human biomechanics, exercise physiology, and motor development.
He was also a student Athletic Therapist for many of the teams at the university.
Following graduation, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic - West in
San Jose, California. At Palmer-West, Dr. Breen was president of the Student
Biomechanics Club and was fortunate to be able to work with his chiropractic
mentor, Dr. Don Harrison, developer of Chiropractic Biophysics, a chiropractic
technique that Dr. Breen continues to use. Dr. Breen graduated from
Palmer - West in 1986 and returned to Calgary to start his practice. Dr. Breen
worked at the Chiropractic Health Care Centre in the Kensington region of Calgary and then opened the Chiropractic Family Care Centre at the 17th Avenue location in 1990.
Dr. Breen's background in athletics, and sport related health education contributed to his involvement as a chiropractor for the 1988 Olympic Winter Games, as well as numerous national and international sport events. Dr. Breen was also the referral chiropractor for the Calgary Flames hockey team from 1992 to 1997.
