westbrook is notoriously a dumpy place, but this burger joint is a gem. they have quality meat and cheese, housemade relishes / sauces, sauteed veggies for your burger, and everything is freshly made. i haven't tried anything else, but everything looks good. the guy working there is friendly, too.

You guys and girls make the best burgers and poutines I have ever had. Well worth the price and worth making the trip from the South of Calgary to get! The Christmas Dinner Poutine is a dream come true and I am loving every bite!!

WOW! BEST Veggie Burger I have "TOTALLY" EVER had!

Visited the Westbrook food court for the first time today and found this little gem. Dragon's Lair Burger Co. The line up drew me in, as it seemed to be the only place with one.



Beef burger was really good. Freshly made in store daily. Topping options are endless, including sautéed onions and mushrooms. I was like a kid in a candy store. So much so that I even found myself sharing my excitement with the guy in line beside me. He's hooked on them apparently. Another good sign.



Anyhow, would highly recommend this pit stop. Unbeatable prices for what there're putting out.

Very Friendly Staff, Delicious fresh homemade burger cooked to order with sautéed mushrooms and onions with dragon sauce! The best burger i have had in a long time. I will be back! Keep up the good work. :-)

Tried this place for the first time today and had the best burger I have tasted in years, mostly because it was fresh and not greasy. Food court gem.

Their Burgers are the best! Not frozen patties but fresh! Everything is fresh! I love how they fry up the bacon, onions and mushrooms right there on the spot! My 28 yr old son loved them so did my 23 yr old daughter! Great staff as well! We will be back again and again!

My husband and I have been searching for the perfect burger in Calgary and I think we have found it. Bun was super soft, delicious sauces, juicy patty that wasn’t overly greasy with all the toppings put on exactly how I like it. Only thing they are missing are fresh jalapeños. Otherwise incredible.

My daughters & I come here quite often for our special last night of Daddy's business trip dinners. The ingredients are fresh & the meals are great! My youngest loves to see the dragons.

Every visit is always a pleasure! The staff are super friendly, management is fabulous, and the food is awesome!! The deep fried mac and cheese bites are so so so good!

Celiacs rejoice! This place is amazing, burgers are fresh, the person making the burger was very aware of cross contamination, she even took the corn relish out of the jar with a separate spoon, not from the trays out front..and the poutine was so fantastically yummy!! Buns are Care Bakery!!

As a person who suffers from Colitis, I can not speak highly enough when I find a burger I can have. Not only was the bun gluten free, but the care and attention to keeping any chance of cross contamination happening was above all my expectations.



The burgers were absolutely delicious. The buns, soft and fluffy. The poutine is sublime. I am so so so happy to have found Dragon's Lair, and can guarantee I will be back. Many many times.

After reading some reviews, I decided to try this place for lunch to see if they could even get close to some of the better burgers in town. The patties were made fresh, in-house, we were told; extra lean *Canadian* beef (I liked that) and never frozen. Linda and I both had 1/4-pound bacon & cheese burgers, with different fresh toppings. The bun was an awesome soft Italian bun, which fit perfectly with the oh-so-beautifully charred burger.



Without any question, these were the best burgers we have ever had, anywhere in Calgary. Anywhere, period. Without qualification.



That's a big claim, I know. But, I have never enjoyed such a flavorful, obviously fresh, quality burger from any of the other upscale burger places around Calgary. This is simply the best. And it did not at all feel heavy.



They are located in old Westbrook Mall, of all places; a place where I haven't had anything to eat for many years. They are small, independent and trying to find their space in a competitive field. Based on quality and taste, they should have no problem.



Dragon's Lair Burger Co. is not your father's fast food outlet in a Mall. The service was exceptionally friendly and great at helping chose the toppings, which are right in front of you. The sautéed mushrooms were made fresh, right there and then, when I ordered them. Oh, wow.



This is absolutely my favorite burger place now; and I would find it difficult to go somewhere else. It would be like cheating on what you know is the very best burger in town. Thank goodness it's only about 5 minutes (driving) from home.



They have a lot of other interesting choices on their menu, including some poutine options. I was impressed. But you have to check it out yourself, and do your own taste test.

Amazing food. But as a lot of people have said, organization and efficiency are lacking. I thought it was a new establishment but it's been there for 3 years I've learned after reading comments. They should have it down by now. Waited 20 mins for my burger. Not acceptable for a "fast food/food court" place.
