Drayton Valley'S Warming Hearts

Warming Hearts sole purpose is to provide a comforting bowl of soup to individuals who may not have means for necessary supports.

Warming Hearts is a soup kitchen in Drayton Valley that runs once a week, Wednesdays 11: 30am-1: 30pm, *(while quantities last) that serves soup, buns, coffee, juice, and fresh fruit. Offered as well, threw donations, are articles of clothing, toiletries, winter coats, and work boots. Warming Hearts is non-profit and run by volunteers Kelly Forster and Amanda Evans. The need for a soup kitchen in Drayton Valley has had welcoming support from the local Royal Canadian Legion, Drayton Valley Bakery, Poplar Ridge Home Hardware , Sobeys.

Warming Hearts is running on a trial bases and will hope to stay operational as long as Drayton Valley sees need.
