Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to almost 150 cities in 20 countries. To date, Dress for Success has helped more than 850, 000 women work towards self-sufficiency. Founder & Former Chair - Trena Olfert
Founded in 2011 by Trena Olfert after she and her husband relocated from Regina, SK. Trena recognized the need to have Dress for Success running in Calgary. Backed by a team of powerful women who believe that, as women, we should support, encourage, and bring hope. Also, we fill a need for those who may be going through life changes, such as women to be forced into getting into the workforce. Our mission is to get these individuals through the doors of Dress for Success Calgary so we can provide proper attire to step out into the work world with the utmost confidence.
