About Dynamo Dogsports
Dynamo Dogsports (http://dogsport.org) was founded in 2010 by a group of people who loved their dogs, and loved dogsports, and wanted to develop some new and exciting ways for people to play with their dogs.
Dynamo Dogsports Description
The Dynamo Dogsport Allstar Entertainment group highlights our most talented dogs and owners, who love to entertain the crowds with their speed, enthusiasm, and antics. We are always looking for new opportunities for our talented canines to showcase their abilities in our Dynamo Dog performances.
In our Dynamo Dog competitions the fast flowing courses are fun to watch and fun to play with both Grand Prix courses and Circular Chase (two dogs running head to head over a course with tunnels and jumps). In our competitions there is also a Frisbee and High Jumping event, for those who want to test their dogs against both minimum standards and the best in the country.
The fast paced Tunnel Relay event allows 3 dog teams to have fun racing against other teams, and against the clock, to try to win the competition, break the record for fastest team time, and /or garner points toward titles.
All of our events are designed to be fun to play AND fun to watch. . . but always remember that as much as they love to entertain the crowds, first and foremost, our dogs are our companions, our friends, and our family.

Attention to all of our Dynamo Dogsports students!
We are doing our first "Experiencing the World Walk" on Saturday from 1 - 3, as a fundraiser for Dynamo Dogsport, members headed to the World Agility Championships.
Participation by donation, suggested min donation is $10 for Dynamo students and $20 for non students.
... Our "Experiencing the World Walk" will focus on exposing the dogs to a variety of sights, sounds, and smells; and having the dog gain confidence in a variety of situations.
This week we will be walking on Wyte and checking out the farmers market (no dogs in the farmers market, but we will trade off dogs and sit outside - but lots of opportunities for them to see people).
We will meet at the Dynamo Dogsports Hall at 12:30 and carpool to the beginning of the walk. Come join us!

Dynamo Dogsports is very pleased to announce a brand new Junior Handler Sponsorship program to encourage and support Junior Handlers in Dogsports. We will be sponsoring one of our talented juniors who would like to gear up to attend the National Agility Championships next year. Sponsorship will include a year's worth of free classes for the Junior and her dog!
We believe that junior handlers are the future of the sport, and are looking forward to using this sponsorship to help one of our Junior Handlers reach for their dream!
**CLASSES STARTING SOON** Agility is a fun way to bond with your dog while giving them the metal and physical outlet they need to be a great companion at home! Agility classes are also a great way to give your dog confidence and structure, A shy dog will learn to come out of its shell and have fun and an over exuberant dog will learn to trust and listen.
Classes are 4 weeks long, once a week for an hour and start at the beginning of every month. for only 125$ Class sizes are ...kept small as we want all the dogs to have plenty of attention from the instructors, as well as lots of learning time. The dynamo dogsport facility is over 7000 sqft and fully matted for dogsport training, which means no slipping! our equipment is all top of the line and safety is always our primary concern. Our instructors all compete at an international level in agility, with countless award and medals between them. Over 60 years combined experience training and competing with dogs for every venue.

Just a reminder that Dynamo Dogsport class registration for our September classes is now open. We are offering a Barn Hunt class once again... along with all levels of Agility and Foundation classes for dogs who just need some basic impulse control and foundation skills. Dynamo had a great nationals! 4 dogs earned a spot on the Canadian national team traveling to the Netherlands next year to compete at the world championships!
Just a reminder that we are closed for the next two weeks as we are at the National Agility Championships in Ontario. 6 Dynamo Dogsport dogs competing, and 2 more along for the ride 🙂. We also want to wish good luck to everyone at Nationals, wish a little sprinkle extra for all the other dogs from Alberta!
We have obtained permits to allow a limited number of trailers/campers at the Canadian Classic!!! If you want to come to the Classic UKI event, and bring your trailer to enjoy the beautiful walking trails, off leash park, and the lake with the great dock diving doc etc, just let us know and we will slot you in!
Looks like we may be able to accommodate a few trailers at the Canadian Classic UKI trial! No hookups but if you wanted to bring a trailer just let me know and we can let you know if we still have a space!

Try it! You'll love it. And your dog will too! My beagle and I keep coming back for the classes.
Such great people and trainers. My dogs love having their training days. Even if u don't plan to go all the way, agility training is much better than regular puppy or dog classes. They get to have a job to do. Keeps the minds more focused.
My puppy Finn and I just completed Foundation for Sport and it was an awesome experience. Seanna is a great teacher and I feel like we've learnt so much already. Finn also had a great time with day training. Looking forward to 101!
Fun classes with world-class instructors who have the rare gift of being able to teach all levels (beginners to advanced competitors). Their 'day training' is fabulous too - a unique approach to doggy daycare that make sense!
Fantastic trainers with friendly instruction without the cookie cutter approach. Classes are a lot of fun :)
