Loved this place!! Thank you for the great food and service
I just want to give a shout out to the earls staff, my husband and I had a bad experience there last week and they made it up to us with a complementary meal, we were taken care of by managers and an awesome waitress. The food was amazing they definitely redeemed themselves and we will be going back. Thank you!!
Had the most amazing server today, not sure her name but I was there for lunch with my grandma for her birthday and the server made us feel extra special. She even brought us an extra sparkler for the birthday dessert so we could take a nice picture. She was so friendly and we had a great experience!
Great place for lunch, staff where friendly and attentive, food was yum
A Huge shout out to Earls Bourbon Street today for their act of Community Service. They came out and served over 600 Burgers to Staff and Students at St. Benedict's just because they are a magnificent community minded business. They started early in the morning in the morning cooking and with the help of our parent council and staff and some staff at Earls Bourbon Street there were many smiling faces and full tummys at St. Benedict's this afternoon. All 4 years that I have been at St. Benedict's Earls has done this act of Community Service. They are amazing and we feel very fortunate. Thank you so much.
Loved the food and the plate portions and appearance. That's a huge bonus. However they didn't have regular drinks such as Pepsi or iced tea, etc. It's either a few non alcoholic cocktails or alcohol wonderland. The bar looks pretty in the center area though, and the non alcoholic cocktails are delicious.
It was a good experience. Love the idea of community table especially if you don't have a big group and just want to have steak. The steak flavour though could be better.
Earls is fun. I like the Bourbon Street location because of its convenience. It is a fun kind of environment. And it really doesn't matter which Earls you go to - if you like Clam Chowder, this is the place to get a yummy bowl of it. Try it with the salad and pan bread.. Delicious. Fun. Excellent service. But you may have to remind them if you have allergies!
Staff was great unfortunately I had takeout and sandwich wasn't cut in half, bun was burnt, the chicken breast was thin and barely covered the sandwich and the Brie was forgotten so I was fairly disappointed in my dinner tonight
So I was disappointed tonight. Lat time I was here the meal was amazing. But tonight the steak was overcooked and the replacement steak was a little fatty and chewy. Service has been great though! Kendall (I think that's her name) has been very attentive and accommodating!
Service was a little slow. If it wasn’t for the spinach artichoke dip wouldve been a two. Price is also decent. Good food for your dollar.
My family and I enjoyed our meal. A small thing, I ordered gravy and received it 15 mins later when it was no longer needed. Sent it back but was still charged.. overall not a bad spot
The food was good. The service from my server was really bad she was all the time away never came to offer water or fallow true after I place my order . I had to get up and go to the service station to ask for water .... i think service was really poor and the restaurant was not really busy
No one ever did come to seat us. We had to look around to find a server. I have to say also the place was dead not even all the sections were open. Then it took 10 minutes to get 2 cokes! The waiter had to do his own bartending as well as everyone else's.
They have really gone down hill.
I should add our waiter really tried his best to be pleasant and do a good job. It didn't seem to be his fault. It was Earls.
Food was great when it finally was made correctly. It wasn't very busy yet my friends were able to eat their entire meal before mine came out. A bit disappointed but nonetheless I still ate. Would have liked to express my opinion to a manager but none were to be found.
Went here for a post valentine dinner (Sunday) and all I could say was the food was great but service is terrible. We asked for some ketchup for fries and the first guy ( stripe outfit) said yes and never came back. Our waitress totally forgot about it when we asked her the second time around. The end result was fries gets cold. While I was taking a break from eating my steak as I was waiting for the ketchup, the waitress asked me if I am still working on my barely eaten plate. I thought that was weird. My ice tea takes very long to get refilled as well. For a mom that can only get a night out very seldom in a year, I thought that was a total complete waste of time and money. Totally not impressed.
My friend ordered a pizza and the crust was burned. We pointed it out to the server and nothing was done about it. She had to eat just the middle and I was very surprised and embarrassed that the server saw it and did not do anything. I started to eat at the original Earl's, when it was a Fuller's and changed to an Earl's on Jasper Avenue. After me being a loyal customer for over 34 years, I'm not too ready to return. Bus, I'm not impressed!
I'm not one to write bout things usually, but when I was at earls I ate and drank and all was great... until I got my bill, which was $23.39 to which I handed my server $40. Maybe 5-10 mins later she came back with only $11 change which is $5.60 short but I don't like to create a scene and make someone look bad at thier workplace so i took $5 of the $11 back and gave her $6 even though i was shorted. Only reason I'm writing this review is cause this bugged me the last couple of days only because it's the same server who has done this to me twice... how many people has this happened to and they haven't noticed, I wonder?
I'm going to start this off by saying my girlfriend and I love earls we eat there probably 2 times a week for their awesome dynamite rolls. This time was the worst experience we've ever had from any restaurant in our Life's. First we ordered a caesar and a sprite the Caesar came to us with the pickle at the bottom and over half of it was liquor couldn't even taste the Clamato and that was it ( usually comes with the pickle on a stick with a piece of beef jerky and salted rim ) and well our Sprite was actually apple juice. Then we get our meals.
We ordered the Italia pizza and 2 orders of Dynamite rolls. The pizza was so burnt with white dust coming off the bottom and the rolls were just poorly put together. We sent the pizza back and she re ordered us nachos we were already finished and wanted to leave by the time they came extremely crispy hard to eat. We watched the bartender blow his nose with his hand and he was constantly touching his hair that was slicked back. The one thing good out of it was our waitress was amazing. At the end they did not discount our meal or even offer to discount it. Being regular customers of Earls we are very disappointed and will not be going back.
