Eating For A Healthier Future Description

My name is Erica Anson, I am from England and for 22 years I worked long hours in Real Estate in London and found that my stressful and time burdened lifestyle, didn’t always allow me the time to ensure I ate a well balanced diet or take regular exercise. My immune system suffered, my sleep pattern became sporadic and my energy levels were not what they should be. In 2008, I took off to South East Asia and during the 7 years I spent there, I qualified as a Personal Trainer, realizing the importance of exercise and began preparing meals with whole foods on a daily basis. Over time, I noticed my health change for the better, my sleep pattern improve, along with my immune system.

England being a developed country, like Canada, where I currently live, we share many commonalities and one major factor is the risk of disease often attributed to bad diet and lifestyles.

I am very passionate about what I now eat and the way I conduct my life, particularly as I come from a family of heart disease, high cholesterol, cancer and the dependence on medication. This has inspired me to take a step further to educate myself by becoming a Nutritionist at the Elevated Learning Academy, here in Canada, as I am keen to do everything I can to ensure this doesn’t blight my life, instead, help me lead a nourishing, fulfilling, healthy and active life.

As I am now qualified, I want to help you experience not only these health benefits, but to discover a path for good heath, wellness and happiness. Together with my nutrition knowledge and my experience as a personal trainer, I want to guide you to reach the best you can feel and as nutrition and exercise have a major impact on our everyday lives, I want to coach you to understand how your body works and what your body needs in order to reach that goal and by helping you realize that if your body receives all the nutrients it needs it will protect and heal more efficiently, leading you to live a life, healthier, longer.

We are all individuals and so often need different things, and as your nutritionist, my mission is to help you reach that place you never thought was possible by coaching and supporting you, offering you tips on meal planning, grocery shopping, recipes, food substitutions and most importantly be there for you to keep you motivated and inspired or simply guide you in the right direction by promoting optimum health and healthy living practices. I believe that small changes can have a major impact on our total overall feelings of good health and I am dedicated to guide you on this continuing journey.

My philosophy is that health is not only the absence of disease, but rather a sense of wellbeing and balance in all aspects of our lives, be it physical, mental or emotional.
