We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here in February 2017. It was fantastic. Even the things I wasn’t sure I’d like based on looks or ingredients were delicious. Most of us did had the meal where dishes are paired with wine and it was very well done. I’m not a huge wine person but the pairings did actually enhance the flavours of each other. Definitely would go back again.

Thanks again for this nice evening! I really enjoyed the sablefish but the white wine from New Zealand paired was the highlight. The service was excellent as the servers were attentive to our needs. We were offered many sweets during the courses and even a goodnight surprise upon departure.

For Banff, it was a really good dinner in a friendly environment making a memorable evening.

Went here for taste of adventure. Really was very disappointed with the experience. The food was the big issue here, which shouldn't happen in a restaurant like this. Alberta waygu beef? More like I grabbed sysco AA tenderloin and called it a day. Had silver skin in the tartar. They blow torched a raw scallop and it tasted like butane and carbon. Most of the food was incredible under or un-seasoned. Their were decent moments with a pallet cleanser. Took over 45 mins between appy and the main. And the manager was useless. Left extremly disapointed. Remember Eden, it's the Taste of adventure, not the "look" of adventure.

Oh wow. This was the best meal I have ever experienced! The visit here was exceptional from beginning to end. I can't wait to come back again. Thank you for such a wonderful night.

Unquestionably a 5 STAR experience. We were seated near the window which spotlights a grandiose view of the Canadian Rockies.
The services started with a Champagne cart which had varied prices of bubbles. No pressure from the service staff to spend the big bucks, which was appreciated.
We did the Chefs tasting menu, it was absolutely exquisite! Chef takes you for a brilliant expedition of delectable flavours mixed with a Canadian gamey farm to table type experience.
The service didn't miss a beat from the waters being topped to the detailed description of each dish. Even some charming humour was added at almost every turn.
As we left we were walked out and greeted with a to go gift.
Overall a wonderful experience that I recommend for anyone looking to have a nice evening with a loved one.

The food was stunningly disappointing - which was a surprise given the rest of the reviews. Eg a lobster terrine where you literally couldn't taste the lobster. A broccoli panacotta that was as bad as it sounds. A salmon and caviar trio that was nice by itself but on top of 'crisps' that were thick and chewy and took away from the delicate nature of the dish. Pheasant that was tough and overcooked. Two of seven plates hit the 'average' mark for what you would expect from a great restaurant - goose and venison - but you could find just as good in 3 or 4 other restaurants downtown in Banff. The wine selection and quality was excellent, however the 'pairing' totally missed the mark for several courses; the service was very good. The scenery is stunning. But the food is really poor. If this type of experience is new for you, then I think you will really enjoy it. If you go to a lot of '5 star' restaurants, this will be one of your worst food experiences.

My wife and I came for our first anniversary. Exceptional food, wine, and service. A memorable meal for a memorable occasion!

Stayed at the Rimrock last weekend and decided to book a table at Eden.
Best choice we made all weekend!
The view from our table was amazing. The food was some of the best I've ever had. The wine, delicious. And the service, impeccable.
We had 5 servers throughout the night. Each was very knowledgable of the menu, polite, and entertaining.
We ended up staying about 3 hours and enjoyed every minute.
We would definitely recommend the pheasant and the beef. Even the bread was memorable.
I highly recommend Eden to anyone that seeks out a quality dining experience.
However, keep in mind, it's not cheap. :)

Couldn't have had more fun and fabulous food. Staff was great, food amazing, accommodated for our time constraints and managed to make the evening AMAZING! Hope they know how much the little touches meant to us!!!

I had a wander full night at eden with my friends.
Dress code: restrict , but understandable. One of my friend wear sweatpants, he has to go back hotel and change. Dinner was a little delayed, they apologized at the end.

Bread: good selection of home made bread. Very yummy. Especially the butter , three kind, goat milk , cow milk and spreadable Oliver oil, both amazing.

Wine: wide selection of wine , very good. Champaign also good.

Appetizer: looks very beautiful , I ordered elk and soup, tasted very good , unique and pretty.

Entree: this is one lose one star, I ordered bison. A bit too salty. But overall good. My friend ordered beef, over cooked.

Dessert: amazing!!!! Coconut chocolate is very astonishing.

Tea: Earl gray is the best I ever had. Smells so good.

Surprises: we had a squash shoot , scallops, and Christmas chocolate, very surprise and delicious.

Services : good services, from the beginning to end. Everything are well organized. We had a guy from Spanish, very humour, made us laugh and happy, overall services give us a peace of mind. By the end the manager prepared banana cake for us to bring home.

I will definitely try again. Recommended.

The food was alright. They some how managed to make "waygo" beef tough witch makes me think they're just serving top sirloin and calling it waygo. Every thing was slightly under seasoned. All the food looked much more pretty than it tasted or felt but it was okay. The problem with this place is one busboy/host. He made a rude comment about my brothers sweater becauze it was COLD in the restaurant witch is not a good thing in a place like this. Then made several more dude comments to him through out the night. This short French guy with a shaved head needs to get a job a Boston pizza and leave fine dining to people who know how to treat people. And every one else who we complained to about this guy needs to take complaints much more seriously and when you say you're going to bring the manager out, live up to your word.
