Minister David Eggen stopped by our Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Camp today.
Communicating can be difficult especially when you cannot talk. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems provide an option to support individuals who have trouble speaking. At Edmonton Catholic Schools, we are continually working to support our learners using AAC systems in the classroom, while also trying to bridge the gap with families and caregivers. #ECSDfaithinspires

This is the ninth year the year round program has been offered and is currently at St. Teresa of Calcutta Elementary, St. Alphonsus Elementary/Junior High and St. Catherine Elementary/Junior High.
