Wicked selection. Easy to use online system. I dig it in every aspect.

When you are bored or it is winter time the Edmonton Public Library is a great place to hang out with your friends, by yourself, or with random people. If you have some work you need to do and you need a very quite place to do it, there are always study areas in the library as well as computers and printers that can help you when working and if you are having any trouble you can always just ask the kind staff. Both these reasons are why Edmonton Public Library is one of my favourite places to go to.

We love the EPL! The baby laptime and sing sign laugh and learn programs are fantastic! We love that there are classes everyday throughout the city. Also, the baby board book given when you sign up baby for a library card is great! Thanks EPL!

The Edmonton Public Library changed my life. I used to go wander around bookstores and spend more money than was wise on more books that I would ever have time to read. Now instead I wander around libraries and check out books that I would never have time to read, but because I eventually have to bring them back, I make myself more accountable to reading them!

Also, the EPL has a broad selection of video games and Blu-Rays which lets me stay up to date on expensive digital media as well!

I've had mostly positive experiences with their staff also.

5/5 would recommend this library service. Particularly because they have no competition.

Stanley A. Milner library.

This library has not only been a source of books but much more for me and my daughter. It gave us a sense of belonging to a new environment after moving here. She has fixed routine with story time and other interactive activities . Staff at the library are very very helpful and go out of their way to help . Thanks .

Love all the programming at our libraries! We are very lucky to have such a great public library in our city. I have been to a number of different locations across the city and always a great experience. During my maternity leave my son and I participated in a lot of the classes they offer, it was a great way to get out of the house and do something fun - for free!

I'm so proud of this library, it is an excellent resource of knowledge and fun. They have all kind of programs for any age and comprehend a vast variety of products. From books to magazines, going through movies, console games, music, etc.

I take my kids to the programs (free) and they love them, anything you have in mind, you can find it there.

Also, the online resources are amazing, so much study material, kids books, etc.

We, as a family, profoundly enjoy EPL.

And I don't want to leave outside the people working there, they are wonderful, helpful and always have a smile for you.

Thanks for all and keep doing it, you make our life better/

I love the children's programs at EPL, particularly Sing, Sign, Laugh and Learn. I attended SSLL at Sprucewood today and one of the staff members named Zoe helped me persuade my uncooperative 2 year old that it was time to go home by giving him stickers for putting on his coat and popping in the stroller. One less toddler tantrum for the win! Thanks EPL and Zoe!

I love the children's area at the Meadows Branch. It is always quiet and there is a great selection of books and media. The computers keep my child occupied and engaged while I browse the stacks. The librarians are so helpful and friendly. I like that the children's section is towards the back of the library so they can have their own space to just have fun.

I love that the library has become a meeting place for the community. I've seen story groups for toddlers, street people using the computers, students working and people like me just sitting and going through magazines. My library card is one of my favourite possessions. Keep up the good work!

EPL is fantastic, so many great resources and it's FREE! I love the variety of eBooks and usually if they don't have a book I can request it and EPL will buy it within a few days. I've lived all over Canada and this is the best library I've come across so far!

Amazing program! So many different books (not to mention audiobooks, DVDs, etc). I can be laying on a beach and still borrow an ebook all for free. Staff are friendly and helpful and there are lots of beautiful locations and drop off spots. I can’t believe I didn’t sign up earlier. The wait for new books/games can be frustrating, but free is worth the wait.

very small in size, need to expand on computers, access to books more easier, and another way to being good to customers, without feeling like another, or be a part of a family of learners. Otherwise, very good with a four star out of a five star ratings.

User

Library is great but needs to provide more warnings when computer time comes to end.

Is there still a chamelean in the edmonton public library?

Stupid toddler program is always full. When are they going to get a bigger room or have something going on in the libary for the kids that are left out have something.

Not to mention the lady at the front came and checked on me three times. Which made it look like she was making sure I didn't walk in. Then once the door was shut and locked she went back to the front and stayed there

It’s pretty sad how libraries have become public circus attractions and are so loud and obnoxious. Can’t even come in and sit down to read a book anymore. I’ve been to several libraries around the city multiple times and each is the same. Absolutely no disregard for the patrons who come to READ in a library. Kids and teens as well as parents are allowed to be so loud, swear, yell and run around with absolutely no repercussion. Very disheartening. Gone are the days when people knew to be quiet and respectful.
