One of my favorite parks in Calgary. A great area to hang out with friends, go for long walks or ride your bike. The pathways around Edworthy are, to me, still part of Edworthy park for a long distance in every direction.

A small park, usually busy, parking slim during the week day hours. Nice connection to trails on South side of river.

Good little park for a picnic, or enjoy the Bow River. Walking, and cycling. There is a few city run buildings for small venues and BBQing. Lots of Dogs enjoy the river as well.

Aside from the long small road paths and trails, I love this park because you can enjoy nature as well. Full of trees at the sides and a view of the river. They also have an Ice cream store nearby the bridge. If you are lucky, you would see the train pass by. Most people hangout during hot summer days to cool them selves by the river either paddle boarding, river rafting or just soaking in the cool water and sun bathing. They have a nice decent size restroom for changing. The park also offers a good venue for activities such as picnics and other events. Recommended for family, friends, groups or couples. It is very close by to a gas station and also restaurants and or eateries.

Beautiful park, good walking paths that are separated between bikers and pedestrians. Pet friendly, lots of garbage cans along the trails.

One of my favourite parks in Calgary. Beautiful trails to walk along, numerous play grounds for children, lots of picnic areas and many with a place for fire. There's even a couple of shelters. The train runs through the park too and that's fun. The river runs through it too. The beautiful pedestrian bridge with the cute little ice cream and coffee shop right there. A lovely place to be.

Edworthy Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the inner city. It is accessible via pathways on both the south and north sides of the river, and has ample parking on both sides of the park.

You can book picnic space for your special events or just show up and enjoy the area. It's not exactly a hidden gem, but it is one of my favourite parks.

Great place for picnics. Plenty of tables and fire pits. Close to parking lot. A lot of playgrounds, well maintained trails for hiking, dog walks and bycicle rides. Be very careful around train tracks though. Historic place too since it was private farm in the past.
