We went on Halloween night (2017) and the guy who was running it was awesome. Super funny, gave hints and made it even more fun then we thought it would be. Was so much fun we ended up doing 2! Will definitely be back!

User

We went for a very last minute date night and being the horror loving couple we are, went with Samara.

We had a great time and were challenged with a few of the puzzles which made it even better when we would get through a room.

We will definitely be coming back to do the other rooms!

User

We had so much fun in the room. The young lady at customer service (Tarrin) was absolutely fantastic and I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have some fun. We will definitely be returning.

User

It is the best escape room I have played in the city. The room is very large and all the props make sense. I have been other escape rooms in the city but I finally returned to eescape. The customer service is excellent.

User

I have been to the others in the city, this is by far my favourite. The game was a little different, in terms of the outcome/ultimate goal-instead of breaking out of the room, you could end up eliminating the terrorist, defusing the bomb, or save your own life.

I felt I was actually making progress even though at then end we failed, but in the process I actually felt the pressure and excitement of solving the puzzle. The setup of the puzzle strings is a little bit more logical, for me anyway. I will definitely recommend.

User

I have been to all the Escape Rooms in Edmonton this is by far my favorite! Very cool electronics and many unique puzzles. The rooms are a lot more leaner compared to other escape rooms. I played two rooms here. one is Samara and the other one is Held Hostage. I loved both. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.

User

Had lots of fun tonight at Eescape! We passed the Samara room (barely) and Stephan made it fun for us by giving us a clue when we needed it at the end. It was hard but not impossible and there were 3 rooms involved. All and all a great time. Thanks!

User

Had a lot of fun here, we did the Samara room which was creepy and well done. The staff member who helped us I believe was Cameron and he was very good with the clues and explaining everything well. Had a bit of a late start but they were apologetic so it was no problem. Would definitely go back again.

User

Our group had a great experience even though we failed our mission. Definitely want to return to finish it!! (And try others of course) Only complaint would relate to technical issues that I don't want to write as it pertains to the game. Staff were friendly and helpful though! Already recommended to others to try

User

Compared to other escape entertainment places, this one is nowhere near as good. The staff seemed very uninterested in their jobs and like they'd rather be anywhere else which had a negative impact on the mood of the night. The puzzles were great, fairly challenging however it just wasn't very creative with respect to the theme of the room. It was just a lot of "solve a puzzle... Open a box... Solve a puzzle... Open a box" on repeat. The room also wasn't set up very well, with pretty bad props and decorations for the theme. I have been to other places where you feel completely immersed in the story of the room because the riddles are just so creative and match the theme perfectly, the props and setup are amazing and the staff are so in character. Overall, I would rather spend my money on a better location.

User

We were told to arrive 10-15 min early for our booking. We didn't get put into our room until 20 mins AFTER our original booking time. They have this stupid policy of taking your drivers license and not returning it to you until they go back into the room after you're done to see if anything is missing/broken. I've gone to numerous escape rooms, and this is the first time I've encountered that. Also found the staff there rude. Never going back. I'm recommending Break Out over this place to all my friends instead.

User

We did National Security and failed. We found out after from staff that it has a 96% fail rate. Obviously something's wrong if it's that high. Some clues didn't give a proper explanation and the lighting was terrible. We couldn't see the lock numbers or read the books.

User

In a growing form of entertainment in the city, (There are 7 different escape room venues now, and probably going to be far more soon) this just doesn't match the others. The props are unfortunately cheap, the puzzles usually don't relate to the room theme being placed with really no reason but to give you a puzzle. After discussing my experience with the staff, they agreed, and said that there was room for improvement.

I would like to come back, I love escape rooms, I would recommend the experience of doing one to anyone, but I can't recommend this place at all. Stay away.

User

By far better companies offering much more interactive and thought out rooms in the city. This was very cookie cutter follow the steps in unlogical paths of reason that made no sense. Was disappointed. Maybe it was just the room we did (Samara) but would not recommend it.

User

This place is gross. It's in a creepy basement in a run-down building. It has one couch with used lockers in the lobby. The bathrooms are disgusting in a dark, dirty back room. We did National Security. The walls were filthy, the furniture looks like it was found in the alley. Not sure if they're just doing this for a quick buck while the trend is hot, but it seems like it. Myself and my group will not return.

User

There are many escape room businesses in Edmonton and Eescape is the worst I've seen. Tacky and sparse props (scattered dollar store Halloween props, clues printed off the computer and taped to walls of otherwise empty rooms). The puzzles were obtuse and less interesting than others I've seen. The staff were rude and made fun of me when I asked how scary the Samara room would be. Stay away - I'd recommend any other place in the city instead.

User

Lowest quality of any escape room in the city. Go to one of the many other options. If prices were lower to match the quality, I could see choosing this place, but all prices are the same.

Rooms are poorly put together, stories/themes are mediocre at best. It's like paying theater prices to go see a middle school play.

I've been to this location a few times, and other escape rooms around the city multiple times, this is hands down the worst bang for your buck.

User

I've done two rooms at this location now and I should not have come back after the first, but I believe in second chances. We did Samara first, and it seems like there's just puzzles thrown into a room for the sake of having puzzles. They did not match the story at all and seemed to be there just to trip people up. We came back because the staff suggested we try another "better" room. We did National Security. Furniture in there looks like it was found in the back alley, the keypad door was missing a sticker and there was a burnt out light. Just overall poor quality and thrown together. This is a total waste of $25 and probably the worst escape room in the city. Don't waste your money and seek out a professional company. There are several better ones, including GTFO a block away and Smarty Pantz.

User

Doing a tour of all the escape rooms in Edmonton this week. Been to two others and am doing two more this week. This is, without a doubt, the worst so far. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because of the awesome guy that was working, Kieran I think his name was. Other than that, it's super sketchy, cheaply made, just opening up box after box by solving unrelated puzzles. Very very disappointed. Do not go to this location. Spend your $25 at ANY other location in Edmonton.
