Do you have a furnace? If you live in Canada, you probably do and if you do, then you have a filter that you need to take care of! So let's FILTER through what you know about caring for YOUR filter!
Did you know that your filter needs to be checked every month? Making sure that you are taking care of your filter is key to having a nice and warm home for those cold winter months!
Try to stay away from allergy filters! They block airflow and can cause your furnace to over heat. We prefer to use non-pleated filters, giving lots of airflow! Spray some coconut oil on it to attract the dust, giving amazing filtration. This is a quick and easy preparation for winter!
Feeling hot today? Here’s an AC tip for you!
For best results with your air conditioner, turn it on early in the morning, no lower than 21 degrees and turn it off early in the evening! For our family, we turn it on at 8:00 in the morning and off at 8:00 in the evening!
It is best not to leave your AC on during the night, as it may freeze up!
