Electrokinetic Solutions

EKS focuses on developing technologies for dewatering and decontamination using novel application of electro-kinetics. EKS has developed the Electrokinetic Solutions - Dewatering Technology (EKS-DT) which is design for large industrial applications including the dewatering of slurries, sludges and unstable clay soils. Current tests are being done deploying this technology for the in-situ de-watering of tailings ponds in the Athabasca Oil Sands located in Alberta, Canada. The goal of EKS is to develop innovative and low cost solution to environmental issues on a large scale.
