Electronic Recycling Association

About Electronic Recycling Association

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is a non profit organization founded in 2004 to address the growing problem of electronic waste and the pervasive digital divide. ERA's primary goal is to reduce e-waste by reusing unwanted computers and related electronic equipment. By focusing on reuse, ERA creates the opportunity for secondary use of IT equipment by low income, high needs Canadian families and organizations. This focus allows ERA to create cleaner communities with less waste while giving back to local charities and individuals. ERA is represented in most major cities all across Canada such as Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Montreal and Toronto. ERA also offers convenient pick-up locations virtually anywhere in Canada. ERA is proud to be a leader in the Electronic Recycling sphere in Canada and intends to continue the mission of reducing and preventing unwanted computers, laptops and related electronic equipment from ending up landfills or being prematurely disposed of before reaching their maximum life cycle. Help us create cleaner, safer and computer literate communities by donating your unwanted computers to ERA.
