We have issued a new blog post / article today, this one about swim goggles. They're a minor thing but they have a big effect on your workout and your race. Hopefully, we can help you get it right. https://tinyurl.com/ybpycqa6

Since winter seems to have settled in hard here in Edmonton, I thought the new article we were working on was timely. Here are 3 of our "go to" bike workouts you can try at home to add some variety into your mix. https://tinyurl.com/ya4rhu2y

In case anyone wonders how we decide what articles or blog posts to write or update, it's usually motivated by the most common questions that have come up in recently. So, here's the latest one on "Bike Trainers for Indoor Riding" https://tinyurl.com/yay2tdv5

When it comes to triathlon bike fit, every rider needs to find their position for optimum comfort and speed. Triathlon bike fit is not one that can be dictated by the bike or the fitter. Take a look at the top 10 women in Kona and you will see individual variation. We are the experts on helping you find where you fit. https://www.slowtwitch.com/…/2018_IRONM AN_Kona_bike_images_…

Now I'm not a fan of Lance Armstrong but I have to admit that he has enough stuff to offer a respectable opinion on this year's Kona race. Starting at around 6 minutes in, the first athlete he singles out to talk about is Daniela Ryf. They call her "the big story". Yes!! #Feltbicycles #FeltIA #FeltIADisc https://youtu.be/xE648r35dDI

The Felt IA Disc is landing in Canada soon but will still be limited supply at first. Don't wait!

When I started in triathlons a couple years ago, I brought my bike in for a proper fitment as I was getting a lot of body pains while riding. Cam fitted it properly, added a few things, and was forever grateful as i no longer had the pains and my speed increased because of it. Elise helped me with the swim gear and again, very grateful. As a newbie to the sport, I needed all the help I could get with the gear, and they both help point me in the right direction. Thank you.

User

This team has been very supportive for me getting into triathlon! And also with supporting our MS Bike Team!! Thank you Dana, Cam and Elise for everything!!

User

The staff were very helpful when I came (last minute) looking for a trisuit. And even though I didn't get to wear the wetsuit I rented for the triathlon (water was too warm), I was given a thorough demo on how to get it on. And they had cookies for my kids.

User

The staff are very helpful and awesome to deal with.

User

Knowlegable staff and excellent customer service.

User

Incredibly supportive, and helpful! Could not ask for better advice, and technical support. My only go-to for triathlon, and biking knowledge!

User

If you want to know about swimming, biking or running, this is THE only store you need to go to. From training sessions, to the right gear to getting your bike fixed and tuned up....dont go anywhere else.

User

I've dealt with most of the major bike retailers in Edmonton, and if you want personalized service, bike fit, advice, and the best bike mechanic in the city take some well deserved time and talk with Cam and Elise at Element.

User

Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and patient! I love this local store :)

User

Cam, Elise, and the cats were able to get me a new bike just in time for this year's Triathlons!

User

Cam did an amazing job on my bike when I brought it in for a tune up and a once over. It’s the nicest I’ve seen my bike since it was new. If you need work done on your bike, you can’t go wrong with Element.

User

Cam and Elise take the time to explain products and training solutions, you never feel rushed by them. Cam picked out and set up my tri bike and it has been a wonderful ride all season! Friendly and kind people that genuinely have your needs in mind is rare, one of the many things that makes element unique.

User

Cam and Elise really take the time to explain everything and really made purchasing a new bike both enjoyable and educational! Thank you!

User

Awesome people!! Just went there to rent for the first time a wetsuit and everyone was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!

User

Amazing place for advice, training and gear! The only place to go to for a bike fit in Edmonton!

User

5 star all-around. These people know what they're doing and the customer service is always top notch.

User

10 stars to Cam and Elise! Thanks for the awesome fix on the P5 today and all the support! Bike works great now in EVERY gear(never did before) and my FTP jumped up today. You rock and know ur s#!t !!!!

User

Very disappointed in the customer "service" at this store. We made a significant detour on our way to a race in Red Deer to shop here for tri wetsuits. Among a few things that occurred, when looking at wetsuits, cue the scene from Pretty Woman "these are VERY expensive". We told the salesperson that we had done our research and in fact that was why we came to their store - for the high quality brands they carried.

We didn’t feel as welcome as other patrons we observed. Staff needs better training on serving ALL customers, not just their regulars, and to treat everyone as a potential sale, not just based on one’s appearance and the staff’s prejudicial opinion of how much money one might spend.
