Would give negative stars if possible
Had the most unpleasant experience from profoundly sub par personnel.
After an excellent experience at Enterprise Crowfoot location, I was pleased when a auto repair shop arranged for a rental from Enterprise while my vehicle was under repair.I was picked up by a less than cordial driver. After a 15 minute wait I was given a smoked in vehicle with a rattling licence plate.Returned the vehicle after a week.
I was once again, due to some unfinished work on my vehicle, picked up by the same less than cordial driver for a 1 day rental. This time the wait was 20 minutes while the vehicle was being prepared for rental. Upon check out a usual walk through was done and I was on my way.
I returned the vehicle after 6 hrs or so and 6 km. usage. Only drove to work and back to return the vehicle.
I had to wait for 20 minutes before someone was dispatched to inspect the vehicle. He went through a surgical and in depth 10 minute inspection of the vehicle and advised there was body damage on the vehicle.
The damage as it turned out were dents not even visible to the naked eye and was by no means a recent damage. I expressed strongly the total experience was not business like and unprofessional at least.
I endeavored to speak to the individual who had checked out the vehicle to me and was met with a rude and accusatory reception, a tall east Indian chap with glasses. I received a phone call from them a couple days later expressing deep apologies for the experience and verification the damage was not caused recently.
This without doubt was my last experience with Enterprise.
I don't recommend anyone to rent from this outfit.and if you must then make certain you go through a surgical and thorough review of the vehicle upon check out and preferably take photographs and also have lot of time available to put up with third world service standard.

Don't listen to any of the bad ratings. I have used this location and the downtown offices close to 20 times in the last 6 months, and every single time the customer service, vehicle quality and overall experience have been amazing.

People seem to forget how insanely busy these places can be at opening and closing times, and also how stupidly critical customers can be. Have some patience.

I got at Enterprise company at 1:00 PM asking for the car I rented and was warmly welcomed by the staff, started to show my documents to close the deal and we have realized that we forgot my credit card. And that's when my nightmare began.
I tried to pay with other methods of payment such as my wife’s credit cards, cash, debit card, anything just to go back home with the car to make the payment. However, we were told that the company could not accept others credit cards to be protected from any fraud. Should the company tell me that kind of policies? I felt I was an impostor trying to steal the company.
Jeremy told me they could give us a ride to the nearest train station and that was the most they could do for us. Is that the most? You could offer me a ride home to get the card or ask for someone drive the car I rented to Downtown, provide me the payment at the nearest office from my home, there were so many options, but nothing more than the 3 kilometers ride was made.
Because the Train station was facing maintenance during the whole weekend, It took a total of three hours to go from home to Enterprise, Enterprise to home, home to Enterprise. They knew we were using public transportation and I did not feel any empathy of our issue.
Since we took 2 hours to get home and we had to go back to Enterprise, we called to the downtown office to ask if there was a possibility to rent the same car there. As the downtown unit was near home and we were told to wait for a few so she could try to do something, and we would receive a callback. I am still waiting for that call.
As soon as we returned to the company and finally passed my VISA and went out to get the car, one of your staff members brought us to the car (Nissan, apparently new or mint condition) and started to look for imperfections. When my wife has found a dent, the lady went to her supervisor who decided to change the car. About the new car, the car is terrible with plenty of scratches and dents, the member of your staff told me to not worry about this kind of damages since that car was already enough damaged. Is that type of vehicles you provide to your customers?
The car was not totally fueled, and I was told to fill up at the same level, how come? Should I do the math of how many kilometers rode and filled up some dollars according to the price? Of course, I returned the car with a full tank.
The car offered had a different gear, and no one has at least asked me if I knew how to drive it. I had to figure it out how to use that.
The car was not properly cleaned.
It took a total of three and half hours to rent a car. I got out of Enterprise at 4:15 PM which ruined all my day plans.
Unfortunately, I did not return to try to change the car since I felt disrespected, tired as well as I needed the car to use on Saturday and there was not enough time available.
I felt to receive and downgrade instead of an upgrade even though the problem from the car rented were from Enterprise and not mine. At the same time, I heard Jeremy saying to another customer: “Do you want a free upgrade?”. Why that differentiation?
I was planning to go to Edmonton this Sunday, and take advantage of my first weekend with my wife after months working, and had to cancel due to my worries to break a car like that through the road.
I returned the car four hours earlier since I did not do everything I planned.

What the head office company have to say about this situation because I do not feel that your staff from Calgary have an evenly respect through all your customers.

I hope there was an exception from the company and this email can help Enterprise to fix these kinds of mistakes.

I made my reservation a few months prior to my visit as I knew summer would be busy. I had to pick up and drop off on a Saturday.
There were no concerns with the vehicle or costs - which were what I was quoted.

I had to wait 30+ minutes at both the pick up and drop off times (although they knew when I would be coming). I understand weekends are busy, maybe you should have more than two people working up front.

The final walk around the vehicle was done by staff without me present so I couldn't sign off on the damage (there was none) - this seems fishy. We did a 10 minute walk through when I received the car but I'm not present afterwards? Again, no issues this time but you should be fair and clients should be able to be present to sign off about damages (or none) when returning vehicles.

Lastly, I did incur a parking ticket during my rental. I of course am fine to pay this. What I didn't appreciate was that I noticed the charge to my credit card ONE MONTH after the company was informed of the ticket, and there was NO attempt to contact me re: the ticket. I had to inquire when I checked my credit card account.

You have my phone number, address, and email, but couldn't be bothered to contact me regarding the ticket - just charged my card (with an added admin fee).

Overall the vehicle was great and the rate was good.
I doubt I would return to this location as I didn't feel respected with my time, and not contacting me about the ticket.

Rented a car for the first time from enterprise. First I will go over the pros: everything as per the online quote matched my price and coverage, customer service and processing time was quick. The cons were as follows and mostly have to do with the rental car received from their massive fleet. I reserved an SUV, and granted I got a good price online I feel as though they gave me a lower end model and here is why: the mileage on the vehicle was very high considering it was last years model (50,000 km), the car has a service soon notification pop up every time I started it because it was due for service, it was not cleaned properly because there was dirt all over the outside of the car and it did not carry the best odor either. Overall, the service and processing time was great, but through the haste of it I felt as though I did not receive the most suitable vehicle for a weekend road trip to Vancouver.

It's a worse place to rent something from here. They lie to you, in the papers they have terms and conditions is one thing. But when they explain it's something else. Over all I had to get a car from there and it was cover by my insurance company. But they charge me for the insurance on that day and the hold my money more then a week even everything was cover by my insurance company. I call them to pay my money back and they were saying we need to hold the money. So it's not a good place to visit.

Guys are working hard to improve their customer experience to excellent standards. Had to wait a bit for a pick up on a busy morning, these guys (and I should mention the one woman working in the back of the business), were happy to provide me with an upgrade to a Mercedes. Thx guys! Great job!

I really don't know how to express my gratitude to this company. All I have to say is that I was blown out of the water with their customer service and their pricing. Just absolutely amazing! Everyone I know will be recommended here because of their true honesty and above all crazy cheap pricing. I know that you guys won't let me down especially when I recommend others you won't make me look bad.
