Wow! Best and most energetic staff we have ever experienced for these types of escape games. The room was awesome and we absolutely loved how much contact and support you had with the staff while in the rooms! We would love to escape again!

Went to the Escape hour yesterday for my birthday; we had a great time! Clear instructions, great staff and a lot of fun - can’t wait to go back and try the other rooms!

We wanted to try something fun when we had sometime to kill before our flight. It was an amazing experience. It was a first for all the members of our group. We initially booked their advanced room, but the staff recommended their easier rooms as it was the first time for all of us. Thankfully, we took their recommendation. We had 3 crying toddlers in our group too, but the staff was so courteous. They gave hints when we needed and we still had a feeling of yayy! We solved it. The best part was the fun with family. Rooms and facility are extremely clean .

We used Escape Hour for a work team build event and it was excellent. We were all new to the escape room activity and the staff were excellent at introducing it to us. We did both Cipher Space and the Prohibition rooms, they were really fun. We didn't quite finish them both in the time allowed, but Alex and Nicky were great in assisting us at the right level and getting us over the line. A fantastic experience and I fully recommend it for either a team build event, party or just a fun time... Well done Escape Hour, Alex and Nicky, you were great.

We picked the one that was good for kids 9 and over...so I was prepared for it to be less challenging than other escape rooms I’d experienced, but it was awesome! Game master Rob was attentive and supportive yet not interventionist. We escaped with 8 min to spare and enjoyed every bit of it.

We loved escaping the lamp. We were told we were only the 6th team (and the first 3 person team) at this location to escape without any hints. Our 9 year old was fundamental to our win solving several of the puzzles that we missed. We will certainly be putting this on our list of places to go back to.

We had our daughters 10th birthday party today and it was excellent. I can’t remember the guys name that was working (sorry) but he was amazing. Very friendly, flexible and the perfect amount of assistance for the kids in the room to make sure they were challenged but ultimately successful. We also had a private room booked afterwards for pizza/cake/presents which worked out great - a little small but luckily we were able to use the lobby a little as it wasn’t very busy. I’d highly recommend having parties on Sunday’s as less people and more relaxed. We did the Lost Jewel of Zanzibar room and it was plenty hard enough for a group of 9-12 year olds. They would not have completed it without a few hints from the control room! Thank you for an enjoyable birthday party.

We came and escaped the Red Cabin for a date night. The staff was very friendly and it was fun to escape as a couple. Showed us that after 12 years of marriage, we make a great team. We will be back!

This has been one of my favourite escape room experiences! I love that they use cameras and microphones to listen in and give you a sense of when you are behind and even joke along with you! The staff here was really friendly and the room was very challenging! We made it out in time though! We look forward to coming back and trying a new room!

Puzzles were awesome, and rooms were in great condition. Nicky was attentive and gave just the right level of support for us! Definitely paid attention to us, when we needed a hint, but did not give away too much.

Of course, the rush you get when you escape just makes you want to do another room - so we did! What a great day, definitely recommend, and will be back to try their other two rooms! Thank you guys!!

Our group completed the Prohibtion room and Cypher Space. Both rooms were really well done with lots of puzzles and locks. Our game master Nicky was great with the customer service aspect as well as keeping the environment fun with his great sense of humour, he even spent some time chatting with us at the end to get some feedback. Overall we had a great experience and will be back to finish the rest of the rooms.

My siblings and boyfriend have been here every week for the month of March through April. Love the rooms and the staff. Very enthusiastic. Rooms are at the top decorations and everything. Finished all the rooms and we were all able to escape all the rooms. Hoping that they make more rooms for us to comeback and play in!!!

I'd only been to one escape room before, so I had a basic idea of how they operate.

Escape Hour has a nice setup here in Calgary - the lounge area is open & casual (and, compared to the other one I tried, CLEAN!).

We tried the Lucky Duck Prohibition-era room, and all had a great time. One of the locks was apparently a bit sticky, as we DID have the right code, but couldn't open it - as such, eventually an employee came in to help us out - but I attribute that issue to some clumsy fingers, not a faulty lock.

It probably was the reason we didn't escape because of the lost time; however, we would have been very close to the time limit, if we had opened it earlier.

The difficulty level was just right for a bunch of escape-room-newbies to be challenged but not completely lost for ideas.

The employees helped us out by typing some clues on the monitor when we really needed them - that's a big plus!

We'll be returning for a couple of other rooms this weekend.

Excellent atmosphere and challenging rooms. The staff go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy yourself.

Escape Hour was really fun, Nicky was so personable and helped out group immensely (we had age ranges from 3 months old to 80 haha!). We did one of the easier rooms and it was still nice and challenging. Props were great! I'd recommend to anyone wanting to get out for a family day or team building.

Best escape room we have tried. Great value and loads of fun. Thanks Escape Hour. We will be back.
