Stopped to buy gas, have to prepay.. no problem. I walk in, with a "new" canadian 100 dollar bill. She gave me a big lecture on how they don't take anything over a 50, even if you pump nearly 100 in gas.

Since 7-11 bought ESSO, now customers are supposed to know the internal workings of the company or get yelled at by the attendant.

Vote with your wallet, do not stop here, shop here... if enough people went past this place, they would be begging for the opportunity to take a 100 dollar bill.

It should be illegal to reject 100 dollar bill if you're going to spend 90 dollars on gas, leaving 10 dollars in change.

To the woman that yelled at me, enjoy your day. I'm sitting back, relaxing... while you're yelling at more customers.

My 'home' Esso. Generally very good service. Paper towel stocked well outside. Car wash is good, but not as good as the esso on McLeod by Stampede.

The experience was a nightmare! I was there on April 8, 2017 @ about 2:50 pm trying to use the pre-paid machine for gas. It didn't work and the machine prompted me to see the gas attendant inside the store. So I went into the store to do a $65 pre-authorize payment. As I was waiting for the cashier to process my payment she looked annoyed and frustrated. Seeing that she was getting upset, I merely mentioned that I tried to process my payment outside but it didn't work. She then gave me this really bad attitude response saying, "I don't know why it doesn't work! It's not my problem!" As I tried to explain to her, she kept cutting me off and as a result, the volume of my voice went up because she wouldn't let me finish explaining and yet she kept raising her voice at me as well. She was like a crazy mad lady! I was not that upset to begin with but she made the situation so bad that I decided not to purchase gas there. I hope an Esso boss/manager sees this message and teach her some manners. If she wants to be heard and understood, she should really calm down and listen. I said to her, "I hear you, now can you allow me to talk?" She just wouldn't allow me to talk. Instead, she was yelling and screaming at me the same thing she accused me of. How fair is that?
