4. Once the person you referred comes in and pays for their service YOU who referred the new clients gets a REWARD! you'll receive an email for 10% off your next service with us!

Come enjoy our second salon location ETCH CORE, here in downtown stephens ave, 805 1st STREET SW in the FASHION CENTRAL BUILDING.

That's Right! A Second Location!
... We are officially opening up our second location ETCH CORE. The location of this secondary ETCH is on Stephen's Avenue in the Fashion Central Building on 1st SW.
The Shop officially opens on Tuesday November 6th, and we are ready to book new clients as of now. The online booking system and New phone line are not up and running as of yet, they will be up on Tuesday.
If you'd like to book for the new location right now we can certainly book it manually for you if you call our Current location and number. 403 457 5797.
*Some stylists have moved to this location and will be operating at ETCH CORE.
Clients of Kiyoshi can book at both locations as he is at ETCH CORE
Tues- Thurs and ETCH Beltline Fri - Sunday.

We got confused by our hours, ... so it makes sense that you were too.
In an effort to simplify, we just decided that starting November 1st we'll be open EVERY Sunday and closed every Tuesday. This leaves our schedule looking consistantly a little something like this

i'm very picky on hair color. and i have tried other salons when moved to Calgary. Etch is by far the best. i really like the product they use to color hair and the color last about a year for me(unlike the ones i tried at other salons that only last about 3 weeks). I'm very impressed with my hair artist Yuki. She gose for perfection when coloring hair with details. Other staff are friendly as well. I can go on and on and on to tell you how good they are...to sum up, best money paid on hair only at Etch.

Yuki always provide the best service. She is always polite and very professional. She always know what I want. Highly recommended!

Tsuyuki is an awesome stylist! She's been doing my hair for years. I won't go anywhere else. Etch is wonderful!

I’ve been going to Kioshi for years and have never been disappointed. We recently moved and decided to try a new salon to avoid the long drive to Etch. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE!!!!. My hair was terribly damaged and the stylist couldn’t even cut the length in a straight line. Plus, I paid more than what I ever paid at Etch. I went back to Kioshi this week and he’s repairing the damage and gave me a beautiful cut and colour - just like always. I will continue going to Etch and can highly recommend it to anyone!

I've been seeing Kiyoshi for many years and I always love what he does with my hair! He is very skilled and really listens to what you want. I love going to Etch!

I was a bit skeptical on getting a short hair cut after 15 years of maintaining long straightened hair. I told Kiyoshi I wanted a short hair with less maintenance to fit my super busy lifestyle. I showed Kiyoshi the short hair style I wanted and then Kiyoshi showed me how to maintain that short hair and assured me that I do not need to straighten anymore. Kiyoshi is awesome!!! I love the short hair he did for me yesterday and it works perfectly. Thank you! Highly recommended!

Got out of Etch Hair Design today and have been stopped by 3 people on my way to the bus to tell me they found my hair color amazing. I am really picky and trying out different hair salons in Calgary before settling for one but I think I have made my choice today! Came out with an absolutely perfect strawberry red and a cute haircut. Thank you Zxyro for your amazing job!

Everyone is always so welcoming and professional. It's clean, well maintained, and stylists all know a lot of techniques and styles. Every time I come, I feel like I'm visiting a friend and our conversations always pick up where we left off. This salon has a sense of unity that I've never found anywhere else. I don't usually trust people with my hair, but here, your hair is in good hands.

Came in for a haircut today and it was without a doubt a 5-star experience. I had to change my appointment time around a couple of times as i was driving in from out of town and got in only 30mins prior to closing time but the staff were really graceful and professional when I arrived. The stylist (I forgot to get her name) has a really good eye and knew perfectly what I wanted from a few pictures that I showed her. She also did not rush through the haircut even though it was close to closing time. Truly professional stylist who obviously takes pride in her work. Highly recommend!

Amazing service! I was 20 minutes late and they were very accommodating with still fitting me in. Brooke was fantastic. I can't say great enough things about her. She was very attentive to what I wanted and delivered amazing results. This is the only hair studio in Calgary that's managed to dye my black hair to red without bleach while getting the exact shade I wanted. I'd absolutely recommend Etch.

I went here a few weeks ago on recommendation from my cousin, and I left with a fairly good experience. I went for a balayage and a cut with Zxyro, and he was very accommodating to what I wanted to do. He made sure to ask questions, and even thought of how my upcoming cruise would affect my hair color and brought it to my attention. Through the process of coloring my hair, I noticed he was very patient and detailed. I never felt like he rushed through things, even when the color and cut went a little past closing time. I am very happy with the coloring of my hair, however, the haircut portion was why I didn't give this review a full five stars. I felt like Zxyro wasn't really able to cut my bangs properly. I mentioned that I had wanted to try bangs again, but I was a little hesitant since my hair is heavy and I usually end up clipping them up since I don't use products to hold my hair. He tried to reassure me that he can cut it so that it would be lighter so I could sweep to the side. My bangs still ended up being too heavy and in the end he had use some product to hold it into place.



I am overall very satisfied and happy with my experience. I definitely would go back to Zxyro again for the next time I go to color my hair. Maybe just another person to cut my hair.
