Never ! Never! Never and I repeat , Never let them touch your face . I usually wouldn't do this . But I gave them more than enough time . It's about a month now that I went there . My face is in a total mess. I am still trying to get it to its previous state. They messed up my face big time. Only God knows what exactly they applied . Ashleen or I can't remeber her name. Poor after service . I went back to show them . They were asking me for a refund . I seriously wish I took it up. But I will never speak good of you to nobody .

It was all very relaxing and the stylist and I had good conversation. She asked about what I wanted and she shared with me the colour she chose for my hair first. We talked about the cut and she suggested more layers vs all 1 length. Also, she suggested my bangs needed to be shorter. In the end, the colour and cut turned out great. I was very happy how it looked. Until I wash and style it myself, Ill know how good the cut is. Im sure it will be great because she showed me how I could wear it 2 different ways and I like that.

I went to see Sonja at the new market mall location for a brow waxing. She was awesome ,friendly quick . I have fair skin and I didn't even end up being very red at all. I have gone to her for facials and for nail care as well.Made an appointment for next month thanks Sonja

I'm the happiest person today. I love my hair. Richard Mohammed did an amazing job. I've been to a lot of hair dressers to do my hair and he was the only one that could do the color I wanted. My hair looks healthy and beautiful. If anyone is looking for someone that could make your hair look stunning and beautiful like he did for me then you should go see him. Great work. I wonder if I had the same stylist as Amanda?! I was in to have a bang trim today and the girl who did it butchered my bangs! I simply wanted them trimmed up and slightly thinned out. They look like a toddler took scissors to my bangs ..they are completely uneven and thin and wispy and look absolutely terrible! The stylist proceeded to tell me she simply did what I asked for. Well, I didn't ask to have horrible looking bangs as they looked better when I walked in. Thankfully the very kind lady at the front desk didn't make me pay. I went back after going to the washroom in the mall and taking a closer look. I asked to have another stylist look at them because I had no clue how I was going to manage them. The stylist apologized that they were cut this way and that there was nothing she could do ..all I should do is let them grow out and pin them back for as long as it takes for them to grow out. I would recommend anyone to stay away from the stylists at this salon based on my experience and the other most recent review.

I recently moved to Calgary, and needed to get my hair done. I went in to have some highlights put into my dark hair. I asked the girl at the front desk who she recommended and she told me "this stylist is amazing at colour - it's all she does". So I booked with her and came out looking like a tiger. No joke. The highlights she put in were ORANGE. Against my hair that is nearly black. I ended up having to go to Aveda to get it fixed. Will not be going back to EC.

I had a similar experience from another posting. I came for my booked apt. And then still had to wait as the girl doing my service wasn't finished lunch for a while yet. Then I was told to take the elevator upstairs. Once I got there, no one was there to greet me and I wondered around until I finally found the girl that was supposed to thread my eyebrows in the room. Totally unfriendly, and as I later discovered, didn't know how to thread! Terrible customer service as a whole and over priced. Will never return! When I returned to speak with management about my experience they were just as careless and rude... Not even an offer to make up for the terrible experience.... imagine if they can't even perform such a simple, small service correctly, would you want them doing more expensive things?!

I've always wanted to try Evelyn Charles. The phone staff seemed pretty pleasant and so did the front staff. My haircut was okay. For $65 it was alright. I didn't expect too much more because I didn't want anything done too crazy to my hair anyway. I may come back to try colour in the future.
