I have still not gotten over the damage one of their staff (Ashleen or what ever her name is, did to my face) I went there just to thread. She did the threading and waxed some areas . Wiped my face with some lotions. Recommended one hair inhibitor , before the following morning , it was totally unbelievable what I woke up to. I went there the following Friday to show them. The attendant was asking if I wanted a refund. Excuse me ? Would the refund repair the damaged done to my face ? One of them went in to call the manager . She gave me a facial wash and she promised to give me a call the following Monday ask If there is any improvement . Till I type this , no onehas ever called me. Horrible customer services . I will never recommend you guys even to my enemies . I am still going through the emotional trauma of the damage you did to my face .

Twice now I have left this salon stressed and most certainly not relaxed. I have always had my hair trimmed in a V-shap at the back, I told her so many times that that's how I have it during my appointment and yet it's a dead straight line at the back, very frustrating.

Eveline and Charles; it's been a great four year relationship up until this year, sadly it's time for me to move on. Disappointed.

This was my first time at Eveline Charles and I had the most fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, the place looked very clean and the woman who greeted me at the door was very genuine. I was booked with Richard, even if it was a last minute appointment. I was unsure of what I wanted done with my hair, considering it was my first time. However, Richard (metaphorically) held my hand through every step, explaining why he was using certain products, how he was styling it, even down to how he used the foils on my hair! I got a Balayage with a beautiful caramel tone to it. His abundant knowledge of the industry, his genuine enthusiam, and his care and passion with customers gives first timers such as myself a moment to remember indeed. Thank you, Richard! For making myself believe that I am beautiful again.

I had Ashley today. He did an amazing job on my hair. I have a sensitive scalp, and he was a little rough on it... but I'm super happy with the results. My hair usually takes forever to cut and style....he was much faster than any other stylist I've had before, which was amazing. The salon is clean and staff are friendly. Very happy!

I am new to Calgary and haven't had my hair done in a salon in 5 years, but I decided to bite the bullet and went to the Eveline Charles salon in CORE to have my hair done before an important job interview. I went for a ombré refresh and Janice took me on as her last client of the day.

Long story short, the colour didn't turn out the way I think either of us had really expected. She saw this on my face and gave me the opportunity to express my feelings about it without making me feel uncomfortable or rude (where I would have actually just gone home and cried!).

She worked with me to find the best possible solution to the problem and instead of trying to pass the responsibility, she fully accepted that she needed to do something different. Janice and the lovely receptionist, both stayed till well past the salon and mall were shut to make sure everything was perfect.

My hair looked lovely as a result, and Janice herself looked so much happier to see I loved it. In fact, as I left the salon, I passed a man on the street who told me how wonderful my hair looked (you literally couldn't have planned it any better). Janice was an absolute professional and I really appreciated the time and effort she put into fixing her mistake. I will absolutely being going back to her when my hair next needs doing and would recommend others to see her too.

Oh just had a fab time in this gorgeous salon at the core...Thankyou Jamee Phillips for handling my long straight layered hair.
It's purrrfect...Looking forward to coming back for more services soon...I have a list and I know where to go now...Downtown Calgary is amazing! I will take the train next time and spend the whole day.

Absolutely horrendous! The management or staff that was at the front was beyond belief when talking with them. They did not acknowledge me and kept looking at their computers writing emails as I am trying to ask questions and book an appointment. The hair dressers during the time were busy gossiping. I thought it was a high end salon...
