We received the news that sadly Wee Wonders daycare (not the before and school program) has been forced to change locations and their families need to find something new. We have some spaces available so give us a call to schedule a tour and we will do our best to accommodate

Today is National Indigenous Peoples day! We recognize that Expanding Imaginations sits on traditional Blackfoot territory and we are honoured to be able to live here

We have our amazing son MAXWELL trusted in there hands. It’s a great daycare where all the kids are looked after and treated with love and detailed care. Love all the activities both fun and learning that they do there. Keep up the great job.

We have had our daughter attending this day care for over a year and she loves it! The staff here are great and they even provide photos and videos of their daily activities for us to enjoy while we're are work.



The kids get lots of time outdoors which our daughter loves and the menus are great which means that she eats almost all the food they give her.



They also have great programs which involve bringing in guests for music, learning, and play time.



Tim and Julie love their day care and it shows. They are an awesome couple, enthusiastic owners, and give back to the local community whenever they have an opportunity. We would recommend this day care to anyone.

Tim and Julie, the owners of Expanding Imaginations, have been looking after our kids since their first days in childcare. They have built a wonderful caring facility with amazing staff who share their vision of what good childcare is and should be.

I am continually amazed with the wonderful programing, the extras like yoga and music and how much my kids learn and enjoy being there. I can't imagine having them anywhere else!

Our son attended Expanding Imaginations from September 2015 thru June 2016. We were so impressed with the community involvement of this Day Care, from visits to the local retirement home to family party events in the evenings, the staff truly puts their hearts in to the programs. It was such a treat to have our boy eating healthy home-cooked food in a day care by the in-house cook. Rain, wind, snow or shine, the kids were outside playing at local parks which I know he really appreciated! He's heading to kindergarten in the fall but the staff at Expanding Imaginations have let us know that we are always welcome to stop in for a visit. We highly recommend Expanding's child care to anyone looking for a day care.

Our first started at Expanding Imaginations in November of 2013. The staff made the transition for these first time parents so easy. When we had our second daughter, our first stayed 2 days a week, as she loved going so much. Now that I back to work, we are grateful to have such a warm and caring place to bring our daughters.



One of our favorite things about the daycare is the daily emails with photos, to keep us up to date with what the girls are doing. We also love that the kids move up to the next room/age group with a friend, which makes the transition for them much easier. The menu is great, and the amount of outside time and exercise is amazing. We make use of the cloth diaper program with our youngest!

My son has been going here only a week after switching out of a day home and I already notice a change in him. He’s so happy when he comes home and so chatty! The teachers and Julie have been nothing short of amazing helping my little man transition. We get told at pick up how well he did that day and all the great activities he’s been doing with sensory tables, learning and discovering.

If your looking for a place to give you piece of mind for the care of your child I highly recommend Expanding Imaginations :)

My almost two year old daughter has been going here for the past five months. She has learned SO much. She comes home singing new songs with hand gestures all the time. She has also been introduced to wide range of nutritious foods. Her teachers are wonderful. She absolutely loves it here and is totally bored with her days at home.

I love this daycare! I can't tell you what it means to be able to go to work and know that my son is thriving. They use an app to help track meals, diaper changes, potty training moments and send photos. And they just genuinely care about the kids. They always have tonnes of activities throughout the month, they have home-cooked, balanced and diverse meals, and their family events are geared toward having fun and helping local charities. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone.

Expanding Imaginations is one of the best, if not the best child care facilities in the South of Calgary. Their care and attention is hands on and they work collaboratively with you to ensure the best care for your child. Their menu is creative, healthy and of course delicious! In addition, their programming is both supportive and challenging to ensure the best development of our child.



The Expanding Imaginations team have become an extension of our family. Their care and attention to my daughter has made the decision to return to work easier knowing that she is in their care. So much so our second child will be starting their this summer.

Daycare with a heart! I wish I could say that about most daycares or other businesses for that matter, but I can't. I had my kid with them for a week and then my new manager decided to give me far fewer hours than I had planned and, suddenly, I couldn't afford daycare anymore! On the paper I signed with Expanding Imaginations, I had to give them a month's notice to end services but the owners looked at my situation, took pity on me, and gave me what I did not deserve---a pro-rated refund that went above and beyond their contract. I wish all businesses--especially mortgage lenders---would learn to do business with a heart...just like Expanding Imaginations does!
