Terrible parking...cramped, almost non existent...so bad that I ended up leaving without going in. There is no street parking and every other business in the area tows unless your in their establishment. Why not just put out a sign that says ..no customers needed in our area.

Went in for some tulle to make my loofah costume with my friend and the lady that helped us out was great. However this other lady at the cutting fabric counter seemed uninterested in helping us (it was a lot of fabric to cut) it was kind of rude and when a co-worker relieved her from her break she pretty much dropped her scissors and ran away from the situation.

This place is great for buying all kinds of fabric and accessories to go with it. I love coming to this place the staff are always friendly and kind. The only downside is that the materials are npt very well organized and it takes a while to find what you're looking for.

Disappointed in the lack of help offered when selecting fabric. And the misleading advertising of prices. A sign for discounted polar fleece was posted above a row that was NOT included in the brands being discounted.

User

Nice selection of fabric, very well laid out. Busy store but staff is helpful.

User

This store has tons of selection of fabrics. Very benificial to become a member for their great sales

User

Good selection, bad staff... It's difficult because there are so many nice fabrics, but the staff aren't around to help you buy it. It's a shame.

Very rude staff, especially to my children. I had a younger lady cut some material for me and insisted that the price was over double than what was posted, finally, I asked a supervisor to check the price of the material for me the correct price was what I had originally pointed out to her as she told me that I "got lucky". The staff also followed my daughters around the store and when my 7-year-old had a ball of yarn and the label started to come undone she brought it to me to fix for her and lady approached me and told me that I had to purchase it even though there was very minimal (if any) damage to the label. Nothing that a small piece of tape wouldn't fix. This has not been my first experience in which the staff members have been horrible towards me while shopping there, I have had a membership for years but I am now convinced that I am no longer allowed to shop there and will no longer renew or return.

To be fair, I love all the Fabricland locations. This particular one is the largest in the city. I love how well organized it is. I enjoy being left alone to browse the multitude of selection.

There is always a sale happening which for the avid sewer is wonderful. The bargain area is sometimes messy but manageable to look though for what I like to call 'practice' fabric.

I'm not sure what the other reviewers were expecting from the staff who are on their feet their whole shift, not all of them sew, but I find them helpful and they do try their best.

It was the worst customer service experience i have ever had. I can't believe these women still have jobs, because they certainly don't know what it is like to be friendly human beings. Except one young girl, I heard her talking to a customer and she was very nice!

User

Excellent service. I found what I was looking for and the staff girl help me to find everything. I am very satisfied.

With so few fully stocked fabric stores in the city, it is difficult to avoid having to visit Fabricland . Every time I have visited this store (the one on Fisher Road) I have left wishing I would never have to visit again. The staff at the cutting tables are almost always unfriendly and often outright rude (I had a nice exception the other day) both to me and most notably to children. No effort is made to welcome children (or anyone else, actually), unlike the fabric store right across the street from this one, where they provide a small play area and go out of their way to be parent and child friendly. The staff at the till are friendlier, but the folks on the floor (and the very long lineups at the till and cutting table) make me actively avoid going to this store.

Ugh. I only go here because there are very few options of places to buy fabric and notions anymore. If you forget your membership card, they can't look up your number despite it being 2017. They JUST upgraded their tills, but still don't have a computer system to look up your membership number so to get your membership discount you have to come back at a later time with your receipt and card. They still don't scan items at the till. They also don't have a computerized system at the cutting tables so they have to write everything by hand on carbon paper and then that all has to be transcribed by hand again by the lady at the till. Plan for 1.5h every time you go. You wait in slow lines at the cutting tables then slow lines at the till. And they charge you for bags.
