It's a teddy bear picnic! Over the past couple weeks this grizzly mama and her two cute cubs came to dine with us. Can you believe this was right beside the hotel? Parks Canada kept this grizzly family safe while they dined on an endless buffet of dandelions. http://bit.ly/2ucpCPc

What a wonderful experience! Beautiful place and staff was wonderful. We stayed at the Fairmont in Banff Springs at the start of our trip and ended the second half here. The staff at the other Fairmont told the staff here that my boys loved this candy at the first hotel and they showed up at our door with 2 bowls of it when we got here. We took 2 guided tours and Mike and Paul were absolutely wonderful, fun and very knowledgeable! The concierge was super helpful and was able to help plan all of our activities. Excellent experience and would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel!

User

We were there in spring, mid May 2018. Great hotel facing the picturesque snowy lake, rocky mountains with lush greeneries and some parts with snow. Very beautiful place, a feast for everyone’s eye especially if you love natural relaxing sceneries. Also a perfect haven for photography. Love to see it again in summer time.

User

We stayed in a lake view room at Lake Louise for two nights in July 2018 after travelling to Banff via the Rocky Mountaineer. WOW WOW WOW just doesn't come close to describing the scenery, service and standard that this hotel provided. One of those amazing experiences that you need to have for yourself!

We did the walk up to the Fairview Lookout which was well worth the climb just to experience the phenomenal views from the platform. We also hired a canoe and paddled the length of Lake Louise! All the staff were so courteous and very professional.

We ended our stay with a beautiful meal in Lago, the Italian Restaurant on our final night where we had a delicious meal.

If you do this only once in your life I would recommend The Fairmont Chateau in Lake Louise for the perfect chillout experience!!

User

We rented canoes here for a lovely hour on the lake and it was a fantastic experience. The boathouse staff were exceptional in every way - extremely friendly, funny, knowledgeable and helpful. The customer service was beyond reproach and we had a wonderful time in one of the most stunning and tranquil spots we've ever visited. Plus, our photos turned out to be some of the best of the trip. Highly recommend!

User

We just returned from five days at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise... a picture-perfect lake view from our Fairmont Gold room on the 7th floor. The food, service, activities... all was five-star. My only suggestion would be to have coffee available for guests at an earlier hour. With the time change, we were up at 5:00-5:30am each morning and we had to wait until 6:30 to get a cup of hot coffee. A small thing however in the big scheme of things. Thank you for a delightful experience!

User

We had a wonderful week. The Chateau is beautiful and the Canadian Rockies are awe inspiring. The Chateau’s staff is excellent, willing to help however they could and answer every silly question we had. The Chateau has a diverse selection of restaurants and the food was always very good, including the 24/7 deli.

User

We had a beer and an artisan plate while we admired the absolutely gorgeous view!! The waitress we had was excellent and very helpful. We were entertained by a cute little chipmunk who dropped by a few times while we were there!! Doesn’t get much better!!

User

This time Miss Kara of reception made sure our stay will be comfortable and worth it unlike my horrible experience being stuck in your elevator years ago with my mother. To my surprise that same lift was not working during our visit now! Miss Kara is a gem. Very professional yet with a heart . I love Fairmont Chateau that is why Im back with my son and siblings . If only employees and staff are as wonderful as Miss Kara then you would want come back a third , a fourth a fifth! Truly the heart of a resort lies on your staff. Looking forward to my next💕

User

This is one of the most stunning places on the face of this planet. The Fairmont gives the best service you will find. The food is amazing. You will not be disappointed with your stay here!!!! A beautiful location with a great hotel and the hotel provides outstanding service- then you have a truly winning combination!! You will not be disappointed with your stay here!!!!

User

Really enjoyed my visit with my family to Lake Louise. We stopped in for lunch and Kostantino showed us where the sit in dining was. Georgia was excellent and showed amazing customer service as well as information regarding the area. We will come back again soon! Everyone was very nice, kind, and hospitable.

User

No point in trying to describe this place. You HAVE to experience it for yourself.

Extremely polite and friendly staff.

If you don't like the Fairmont Chateau with its surroundings, I'm afraid it's not the Fairmont/Lake Louise that there is something wrong with.

Regards from a extremely grateful Swede.

User

It’s an amazing venue with a breathtaking view. We could have not found a better place for my daughter’s wedding. However we were very disappointed with the dinner during the reception.

User

I've travelled from the Gold Coast Australia to see the Fairmont and Lake Louise, as well as the many other attractions in the Rockies. It didn't disappoint in anyway. Absolutely fantastic views as we ate our lunch on the patio restaurant. Fantastic service, and not really that expensive considering where we were. 6 stars if it was an option.

User

Have returned here since the early 80’s. Every time we visit the high standards just keep going higher! We reserved the Belvedere, Glacier, and Marquis De Lorne Suites this time for our Family and Guests we brought to celebrate our oldest son, David’s, Birthday. Seamus Dooley and Ryan Kelly put on a spectacular dinner for us in the Fairview Dining room. Much Thanks to the very experienced head waiter, Neil, in attending our table of 11 that evening. The Gold standard reception desk of Tina, Chelsea, Diana ,Amanda, Cory were six stars. The caring of our rooms being kept immaculate by Cheyenne and Jevon was much appreciated. I would expressly like to Thank Alexandria Roell, for talking me into this and helping me all the way to make this a fabulous experience in every way from the Helicopter tours to packing lunches, arranging rooms, arranging dinner and making my guests create lifelong memories they will cherish the rest of their lives. We’ll be back! Appreciatively, mike

User

Beautifully located hotel, with spectacular scenery. Excellent facilities. Excellent service and awesome food and drinks which aren’t over priced. Free shuttle service to and from. Highly recommend. A must see location. Definitely to be puthighly on ones bucket lists 😀

User

Beautiful scenery, gorgeous hotel and the kindest, friendliest staff. Tour groups can overrun some of the common areas, but that’s not any fault of the Fairmont. Guests are still taken care of.

User

Although I have to share my thoughts about beautiful Chateau Lake Louise from afar through photos taken by my son and daughter-in-law, guests at the Chateau, if possible, staying there would so wonderful! But I am enjoying all the beauty of the area and the Chateau through the eyes of my family and they have shown the almost unbelievable beauty of Lake Louise. I think my favorite photo so far was the one with the Chateau looking beautiful and cozy tucked in amongst the mountains.

We stayed as part of our Rocky Mountaineer trip between them they organised our luggage direct to the room and the keys to us as we left the coach which was excellent. The views, the staff were excellent. The room was let down by a small bathroom for two travellers. Our stay was only one night and with constant drizzle/rain it was not possible to make the best of this stopover. Looking forward to coming back.

User

Beautiful views- old hotel...attended a conference and first night I had the view of the parking lot. Called front desk and as a Fairmint member they ‘upgraded me’ to basically a ‘shoebox’ but it had a ‘view of the lake’ - most rooms do not have air which is odd.
