Fallentimber Meadery

Well look at that... after a long 2 yrs have pulled the mead out of our bourbon barrel and put it into bottles. We will have it for sale at the farm starting this weekend so come and get it... only 226 btls produced!!

Just tried a sample of the 2 year old Traditional Mead aged in an old Jack Daniels barrel. Soooo good! Just so you know, we are open for tours and tastings all year round. Come visit!

FTM crew collecting 100% pure, raw Alberta honey. Farmers market season ends with September. Canmore Thursday's 10am to 6pm. Cochrane Saturday's 9:30am to 1:30pm. Last call to stock up for the winter on honey, candles, bees wax and of course Alberta's best Meads.

Went here last weekend and had an amazing time! Can’t wait to see the new facility! We met another couple while we were there. Sat around and had a drink with them after! We really enjoyed ourselves!

We've made a few visits out there since discovering them at the Cochrane Farmers Market. This last time we packed some chairs and pizza makings and took advantage of their wood fire ovens (pizza washed down with mead of course- and even some Ryan's honey drizzled on top of our "dessert" pizza!) What a gorgeous day in a beautiful setting! Such a wonderful family business and we plan on coming back again and again!! �

We just had a tour and tasting today and had an awesome time. Learned lots about honey and bees and the ladies there were knowledgeable and super nice (sorry I forgot their names). Will totally be going for another tour when the new facility is open!

Sunday visiting fallen timber was one of the most fun afternoons I've had in a long time. We enjoyed the little tour, learning about mead and honey. Sampling all the delicious meads was pretty great too, so fresh and yummy! We also very much appreciated being able to use the wood fired pizza oven so we could visit friends, eat some food and wash it all down with mead! Thank you for opening this beautiful spot to us! (We even snuck in a few nice family photos!)

So glad you were at the Brooks Medieval Faire in 2017, I was able to sample the selection you brought and it was the beginning of me falling in love with your products! I’ve since been able to talk my local beer store into carrying a few of them...so awesome to walk a block for a bottle of Meadjito, Honey Buck or Traditional mead! I love introducing friends to your company too, found many who love it and ask me where to buy. Absolutely awesome products you make, thank you!! �

It was a fantastic experience. Nick at the counter was so welcoming and knowledgeable and had no hesitation in showing us around the facility and imparting his knowledge. Got to taste some great meades in a wonderful setting. All in all...worth every moment.

I just had a Fallentimber Majito and it was a great refreshing drink on the patio on this hot day. I will be adding to that total!!!!

I first discovered this place while tagging along with a friend to pick up a few bottles. Apart from it being in an absolutely beautiful location, I was completely sold on everything they have to offer. I find the products to be a fantastic alternative to wine and beer, and I am now a regular at the anniversary festival - a truly fun time with good people! I am particularly partial to the Hopped Mead!

I did not know about them till I went to grab a gift for a gift exchange and seen the sweet looking bottles in the window of a liquor store. I bought two and everyone loved it! Definitely going back to try more!

I am a HUGE fan of the Meadjito and now I just had the Honey Buck. I have to say that I absolutely love it! I recommend Fallentimber products to anyone that will listen and when gifting alcoholic beverages they are my go to. Well done Fallentimber and the Ryan family!

Had an excellent tour and tasting on Saturday, July 21. It is inspiring to meet somebody who is really in love with their craft. Products are fantastic, hoping to get the notification when more Hopped Mead is ready, as they ran out through the afternoon.

Great people, always a good experience when I go here. Staff are friendly and very in tune to their products, if you tell them what you like they will always point you in the right direction of what mead you will enjoy.

Everything that comes out of this place I fall in love with. Meadjitos are great after a good snowshoe or a hard hike- to warm you up, of course. Oh, the PYMENT... The pyment I've had as a delicious digestivo or otherwise enjoyed on its own. Salud!

Every concoction I’ve tried has been instantly addictive and I’m not complaining in the slightest!
